The pitch is seductive, which it should be as it’s put together by marketing veterans, and goes something like: ‘It’s right at the start’ ‘I’m only allowed to speak to a few people.’ ‘I’m working closely/with a superstar’ ‘You have to move fast..’ Before we look at these statement’s let’s step back and examine why people want to have an MLM business. I go into this in detail on questions are the answers but the primary reasons are: Their own business Residual Income An MLM Ground floor Opportunity will give you your own business. A Residual Income in order to be a true passive income needs to be for the long term. It’s not much of a residual income if it only lasts a few months. Is it? And it’s here that ‘MLM ground floor opportunities’ run into difficulties. You’re probably aware that 90% of businesses ail in their first 5 years. In MLM the percentage of failure is higher at 95%. What that means is that you could join 9 MLM ground floor opportunites spend time and effort in building them and then lose all that hard work because the business goes bust due to circumstances outside your control. The sad fact is that most people don’t build a true residual income in MLM, because they have difficulty in making the shift from Employed/self employed to being a business owner. J For me I’ll stay with an opportunity that is proven, and one that allowed me within 28 months to go from bankruptcy to being able to fly out to the Philippines and on finding an amazing 3 bed villa on a 3 mile white sand beach stay there for 14 months.
