Chitwood Update

Where to begin? With a giant THANK YOU to Memorial for the loving send-off you gave us Sunday June 29. We are sograteful for the support that you, our Houston family, have shown us. We’re settling in to our new place, almost alunpacked. Our backyard bumps up to a swamp, so we’re getting the best of the “swamp -life” here in G-ville. The dogslove the sounds (well, except the daily afternoon thunderstorms). Elizabeth started this week at First Lutheran Church

She will be part-time this summer, and is hoping that once the church has secured a pastor, they will call her to a fu lltime position. Meanwhile, she has applied to be an accompanist for the local college dance classes and is hoping to

continue teaching piano lessons. Ken has been busy setting up his study at the house with all his books. He is writingvarious articles this July for some national journals, finishing his thesis and traveling to Detroit to speak at a LutheranHour conference. He is anxious for the fall semester to begin at UF –   go gators! For those who would like to keep in

contact with us, here are our emails and home address. And of course you can find us on Facebook. Again, we are sothankful for the generous love and support shown to us by our family at Memorial. You will be dearly missed. We praythat God will richly bless you and keep you all.

In Christ,
