TIPS FOR MAXIMIZING SALES POTENTIAL ON THE SERVICE DRIVE

Service the needs of all your customers by implementing proven processes in the lane!

• Tires – Every day, approximately 13% of the tires coming through your service drive need to be

replaced. Implement a defined inspection process to get the first opportunity to make the sale or

uncover opportunities for other add-on services.

• Batteries – Heat can damage batteries by accelerating internal corrosion and water loss. So as

the temperatures rise outside, it’s important to fully inspect your customers’ batteries with a

simple battery test to ensure they’re running at their peak.

Recently, dealers that participated in the initial 25-piece pallet order earned the opportunity for

reduced pallet reorders of Magneti Marelli Radiators and Condensers. And now—for September and

October—ALL dealers will now be afforded this same opportunity!

On the Magneti Marelli parts ordering tab of dealers-m opar.com , dealers can chose the following

order quantities: 25, 10, 8, 5; however, dealers will be billed separately for the additional freight cost

on reduced pallet orders (<25) until the process can become automated. As always, 25-unit reorders are the most cost-effective alternative but lesser quantities can now be reordered to suit

Mopar and FCA Performance Institute are pleased to announce the release of the Courtesy

Transportation Program Overv iew web course. The Courtesy Transportation Program (CTP)

affords you the opportunity to build a fleet of service loaners that match your customer needs and

market size. With our customers’ live busy lives, offering alternate transportation during vehicle

service is a critical element in elevating the customer experience and growing your business. This

course can be completed within 30 minutes.

The Courtesy Transportation Program Overview course (code A SCTPW B) is available on the

Learning Center and should be completed by all service loaner personnel. We encourage you to

complete the course ASAP. If you have any questions regarding the CTP program, please reach out

to your Area Manager.
