FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DENVER, CO On Sunday, March 3, 2012 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Denver Police Officersresponded to the 2900 Block W. Mississippi Ave on a Auto/Ped Hit & Run accident. Initialinvestigation produced that the suspected vehicle sped through the parking lot (2915 W Mississippi
Ave) striking the victims before fleeing the scene southbound on S Federal Blvd.
Further investigations produced that there was a disturbance in the Maxim parking lot (2915 WMississippi Ave). The disturbance went into the street at W Mississippi Ave & S Federal Blvd andfrom there back east along W Mississippi Ave. Investigations revealed that the victims were notparticipants in the disturbance but innocent bystanders.
The medical conditions of the (3) victims remain the same. The most serious being the husband andwife who are still in critical condition. A fourth victim was able to walk away from the scene andsought medical attention on her own and was diagnosed with a concussion. The age of the victimsare as followed: Male 51yrs, Male 36yrs, Female 29yrs & Female 31yrs.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a newer Silver Honda Civic Hatchback with tinted windows.The suspect vehicle should have damage to the drivers side front end. The vehicle lost part of thefront lower fender at the scene. Attached is an example of the suspected vehicle it is not thesuspect vehicle. (SEE PHOTO ATTACHED)
The suspect vehicle also lost the front license plate frame with the initials JDM (Japanese DomesticMarket) (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO).
Detectives still need to find witnesses to the disturbance or participants in the disturbance.The familyrequest no media contact at this time.
