Developing or operating a DSME program requires more than just an understanding of the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support. What about reimbursement and documentation? How does one write and follow-up on behavioral goals or CQI plans?

Based on these common obstacles to a successful program, AADE developed a live, one-day workshop: Building Your Diabetes Education Program- Everything You Need to Know and More.

This workshop covers the most frustrating pain points that program managers encounter while building their programs:

• Comprehensive review of the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support

• Reimbursement and documentation

• Setting SMART goals

• Live chart auditing to help you develop your own charting requirements

• Breaking down the CQI process

• Marketing and Sustainability

Attendees can network and brainstorm innovative ways to improve their practices all while earning 6 CE. Anyone looking to start or improve a diabetes education problem is invited to attend!

Did you know… 100% of the programs that attended in2014 and applied for accreditation were successful!
