Monday’s challenge toward solving the mission  Share your favorites

Watch your teachers sing you a song on flipgrid! Watch Mrs. Morris’ video about a few of her favorite

things. Share 5 of your favorite things on flipgrid! Get a paper

bag and put 5 items to represent 5 of your favorite things. Explain each item in the bag, what it

represents, and why that is your favorite. If you are unable to share on flipgrid, share your bag

with 5 items with a family member and tell them what your favorite things are.

Tuesday’s challenge toward solving the mission   Create a card and STEM challenge

Today we celebrate our favorite people!

Create a card for a woman who is special to you and have lunch with that person (in person, over

the phone, or virtually).

Challenge! Use craft materials around your house (straws, play-doh, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, toilet paper rolls, candy, etc.) to create your favorite person. Your creation must be free

standing and at least 2 pencils tall. Share your card and creation on flipgrid or with a

family member.

Wednesday’s challenge toward solving the mission   Favorite: Song, movie, and tv show. Collect data, retell (story elements), and relate to a character.

Favorite Entertainment!

1. Favorite Songs - Watch your teachers lip sync to their favorite songs with your

family members. Have each family member vote on which performance they liked the best. Make a graph and see which

teacher got the most votes! Share your

results on FlipGrid and share your favorite performance! You can also share a video of

yourself on Flipgrid dancing to your favorite song (make sure your song choice

is appropriate). 2. Favorite Movie - Retell the events of your

favorite movie including what happens at the beginning, middle, and end.

3. Favorite TV Shows - Write about why you like a specific character from your favorite

TV show.

Thursday’s challenge toward solving the mission  Word Problem and draw a map of a room

1. Create a Word Problem

Write a word problem so that the two parts equal your age. For example, I have 3 barbies and 3 cars.

How many toys do I have altogether? 6 is the answer and is also my age.

2. Mapping

Draw a map of your favorite room in your house. Count how many items are in the room and share

on flipgrid or with a family member.

1. Draw a picture of yourself standing. Include your favorite clothing on your body.

2. Color the background to show your favorite season. Add ways you have fun during your favorite season.

3. Decorate the frame to show your favorite type of transportation (car, bus, etc.)

Hobby - create a video showing your favorite hobby and how to do that particular hobby (Cooking, crafting, etc.) and share on FlipGrid.
