COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY This Tuesday, April 4,

CBS is having a Visitors’ Coffee Fellowship at 9:00 am

in Gerig Hall. Anyone interested in learning about

CBS is welcome. A new 30-week study will begin in

September. Registration forms are available in the

Connection Center. The fee is $35.00.

GOOD NEWS IN ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE Come

hear Dr. Edward Zamrini discuss the latest research

into the treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s on

Wednesday evening, April 12, at 6:30 pm in Gerig Hall.

THE MEN’S MINISTRY needs men who will

volunteer to visit our homebound male parishioners.

The team meets the first Tuesday of each month. If you

are interested, please join the group this Tuesday,

April 4, at 1:00 pm in the Library.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY meets every Saturday at 7:30 am

in the Missions Room. All men are welcome.

Mission of the Week

Since its founding in 1960, the university has

undergone several name changes, including

Southwestern College, until its name was

changed to Arizona Christian University in

January 2011 in recognition of its growth from

a small Bible college to a non-denominational

Christian liberal arts university.

ACU is an accredited, private, non-profit,

Christian university in Phoenix offering numer-

ous bachelor’s degrees. All students graduate

with a minor in Biblical studies.

With the dynamic leadership of President Len

Munsil (2010-present), ACU has embraced a

renewed vision to “transform culture with

truth” – taking the truth of Jesus Christ and

the gospel into all the world, bringing biblical

truth into every arena of influence in our

culture. Continuing to produce biblically

sound pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and

worship leaders, ACU also intends to equip

Christian leaders for service in education,

business, and counseling , and has plans to

expand its majors to produce Christian leaders

in government, science, medicine, law, and

communications.
