The title sequence of Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol starts off at 9:38 into the film.

(Left) The sequence starts off with the lighting of a fuse and in the background the MI theme song starts.

The first title comes in at 6 seconds into the title sequence. (Right) The first name is that of the Production House. It is in a white font and centre of the screen.

All of the title sequence moves with the fuse of the bomb which is an animation.

Although Tom Cruise is one of the main actors of the movie his name does not appear in the beginning of the title sequence as an actor instead, because he is one of the producers as well, his name appears second after the production house at 9 seconds into the sequence as a Producer (Above).

The animation of the fuse continues and it is at 17 seconds into the titles that Tom Cruise’s name appears in the centre of the screen as the main actor (Above). His name is the first to appear in the title names of Actors.

Unlike other movies the title sequence of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol is sort of a trailer of the entire film with even main characters and main plot points shown.

The Movie Title finally comes 21 seconds into the Title Sequence. The Font is different and it is larger in size than the other titles also it is of a different color.

(Left) The Title sequence also shows scenes from the movie.

Also the rest of the titles appear either in the right or left of the screen rather than the centre according to importance.

(Right and Below) Missiles and Guns are shown giving viewers an idea of what the movie is like in terms of genre.

It is quite easy to tell what the movie genre is from the title sequence and the title of the movie itself. Mission Impossible movies have always fallen in the Action/Thriller Genre.

(Left) The Burj Khalifa is shown giving viewers an idea of where the movie takes us location wise.

Also the title sequence itself has a secret agent type touch which gives viewers who don’t know about Mission Impossible movies an idea of the film’s storyline.

(Right) The title sequence continues giving us various glimpses of the movie. From the picture we can still see the fuse which shows that the title sequence is indeed moving along with the fuse animation.

At 1 minute and 32 seconds into the title sequence the names of the producers are shown and due to importance they are shown in the centre.

9 seconds after the names of the producers, the names of the writers are shown however the names are in the right of the screen rather than the centre.

Finally at the end of the sequence the name of the director is shown in the centre of the screen.

It is the final name shown giving it importance and so that it is the final name the viewers see before the movie commences.

The title sequence finally ends right after the director’s name at 11:29 with the fuse finally reaching the bomb.
