Mission Conduct curiosity-driven and use- inspired research to enhance the green chemistry toolbox with new methods and new techniques that will advance the scientific enterprise and transform the next generation of products Prepare students to become the next generation of green chemists We study and develop the chemistry of environmentally benign water- based inks. We “print” these inks to create products for electronics and renewable energy generation. Printing water-based inorganic solutions allows us to reduce, reuse, and recycle. We help educate high- school students in rural Oregon, providing perspective on green- chemistry principles. We provide new opportunities for students to make the transition to post- graduate education. We educate for innovation and translate basic research findings into commercial products.
