MISSION • Mr. Alsabrook Mission Statement – I will seek the best academic experience for each student by hearing their needs, knowing my material, and abiding by best teaching practices. • Possible Class Mission Statement – We are leaders in our academic community. We will be leaders in our school through service, innovation, honor, and success. • School Mission Statement – By way of collaborative relationships with students, parents, teachers and the community, the mission of South Iredell High School is to challenge students to develop as self-confident, life-long learners who are ethical, globally-minded critical thinkers. • IB Mission Statement – The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. – To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. – These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
