Project BriefRationale:Visual recording is at the heart of the photography industry. It is the key for

photographers to realise what and how to record primary sources using thecameras settings and equipment to convey specific information. Different lighting tocreate mood, texture angle, colour and black and white imagery are all tools. Thisproject is designed to inform you of possible sources of recording, how to recordsuccessfully, look at working photographers and determine how they were achievedwith regards to techniques and equipment. The project requires you to considerVisual Language and how parts of thephotograph are included to convey a message. Your success in this project will be

determined on how well you use the information gathered from class lectures andresearch which is then put into your own practice.

Note: Place all written work and imagery used to complete the project onto yourPosterous Project Blog and in addition hand in the project in a work book.

If you lose your copy of the project it will be available on the First YearPhotography Blogphotographers-year-one.posterous.com
