Mission StatementMISA is a non-profit council of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) that is dedicated to the missions and goals of its supplier members and the industries they serve. In support of this, MISA is committed to:
1) Facilitating advocacy and education for continuous improvement;
2) Advancing hygienic equipment design validation and machinery safety initiatives;
3) Providing an efficient and unified conduit for its customers to collectively reach their supplier community;
4) Investing in future industry leaders through the scholarship program of the MISA Foundation;
5) Remaining engaged with synergistic associations in both the supplier and food processing communities to foster innovation and excellence.
Through annual and operations conferences, networking and benchmark studies; MISA promotes the health and stability of its membership as well as the meat, poultry and seafood industries its member community serves.
