A pagan in sheep’s clothing Al Gore says, “A common thread in many religions is the sacred quality of water. Christians are baptized in water, as a sign of purification. The Quran declares that 'we have created everything from water.' In the Lotus 'Sutra,' Buddha is presented metaphorically as a 'rain cloud,' covering, permeating, fertilizing and enriching 'all parched living beings, to free them from their misery to attain the joy of peace, joy of the present world and joy of Nirvana...."2

Like many New Age gurus, Gore attempts to merge all faiths into one with a focus on the earth deity:

"The richness and diversity of our religious tradition throughout history is a spiritual resource long ignored by people of faith, who are often afraid to open their minds to teachings first offered outside their own system of belief. But the emergence of a civilization in which knowledge moves freely and almost instantaneously throughout the world has...spurred a renewed investigation of the wisdom distilled by all faiths. This pan-religious perspective may prove especially important where our global civilization's responsibility for the earth is concerned." 3

Ex 34:12-15- “Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: 13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: 14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: 15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;” KJV

The world’s cultural problem is separation from God, not from nature. While God told us to care for the earth, He warned us against pagan religions. Contrary to the revived myths now flooding the Western world, nature-worship brings violence and destruction, not peace and harmony to the land. -- Read Deuteronomy 8, 9, 18, and 28.

"Earth in the Balance" by Al Gore

Vice President Al Gore offers some alarming clues about his view of God in his book, Earth in the Balance; Ecology and the Human Spirit.4 Al Gore speaks with a double-twisted-tongue when he talks about religion. During his political campaigns in America, he professes to be “Southern Baptist Christian to the electorate”; then he begins his book by championing his pantheistic beliefs. ....."we feel increasingly distant from our roots in the earth....civilization itself has been on a journey from its foundations in the world of nature to an ever more contrived, controlled and manufactured world of our initiative and sometimes arrogant design.... At some point during this journey we lost our feeling of connectedness to the rest of nature.... We dare now to wonder: Are we so unique and powerful as to be essentially separate from the earth?" Can you see the doublespeak or ‘newspeak’ of public policies in this man?

Gore identifies the root problem of Western culture in that "we lost our feeling of connectedness to the rest of nature" and finds answers in pantheism. He attempts to blend Christianity and pantheism where the source of all life, instead of God has become Mother God, (Mother Earth/Mother Nature also frequently referred to as Gaia). He, like the radical

eco-feminists who support him, see the earth as the pagan goddess Gaia who "has been seriously 'wounded' by the expansion of human civilization, and now there must come a universal atonement for these many millennia of grief on 'her' part" through an event or process they call 'cleansing.'

Goddess worship:

“The spiritual sense of our place in nature...can be traced to the origins of human civilization...in prehistoric Europe and much of the world was based on the worship of a

single earth goddess, who was assumed to be the fount of all life and who radiated harmony among all living things...the notion that a goddess religion was ubiquitous throughout much of the world until the antecedents of today's religions (meaning Christianity, Judaism which he attempts to link to Hinduism), most of which still have a distinctly masculine orientation--swept out of India and the Near East, almost obliterating belief in the goddess. The last vestige of organized goddess worship was eliminated by Christianity...it seems obvious that a better understanding of a religious heritage preceding our own by so many thousands of years could offer us new insights..." 5

Vice President Gore’s "faith-friendly" campaign hides beliefs that oppose Christianity and his Baptist roots on every point. The evidence is in his 1992 book, Earth in the Balance - Ecology and the Human Spirit. It calls for a "pan-religious perspective" that attempts to conform Christianity to the UN vision of social and religious solidarity. The old biblical absolutes simply don’t fit the new global spirituality needed as a foundation for a new earth-centered ethic. To Al Gore, it seems obvious that a better understanding of a religious heritage preceding our own by so many thousands of years could offer us new insights.8

Gore is just putting into words what the New Age Religion has been saying for a long time. What Gore is saying is he wants of to adopt a pan-religious perspective that will bring in other religions and mix them with Christianity so we have a pan-religious viewpoint. He advocates that we particularly be concerned with Native American Religions, all of which are very paganistic and pantheistic. That is a direct contradiction of scripture. The Bible states that the earth was created for man, not man for the earth. The Bible says that man was originally given dominion over this earth. Man lost that dominion as result of his sin. And that Jesus won that dominion back at the cross. And that when Jesus returns He will give that dominion back to those who put their love and trust in Him and man will once again exercise dominion over this earth.

"Whatever we once were, we're no longer a Christian nation. At least not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, and a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers," Obama said during a June 2007 speech available on YouTube.11

At the speech, Obama also seemingly blasted the "Christian Right" for hijacking religion and using it to divide the nation:

"Somehow, somewhere along the way, faith stopped being used to bring us together and started being used to drive us apart. It got hijacked. Part of it's because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, who've been all too eager to exploit what divides us," he said.

Asked last year to clarify his remarks, Obama repeated them to the Christian Broadcast Network:

"I think that the right might worry a bit more about the dangers of sectarianism. Whatever we once were, we're no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a

President Obama worships everything that is called god by all pagans, Muslims, and Hindus, such as:

population devoid of religious feelings. The degree to which the atheistic world longs to annihilate religion, the extent to which religion sticks in its throat, was demonstrated by the web of intrigue surrounding the attempt on the life of Pope John Paul 11 in 1981."14

Yet in Russia--where churches have been leveled, where tens of thousands of priests, monks and nuns were tortured, shot in cellars, sent to brutal camps, where triumphant atheism has rampaged uncontrolled for two-thirds of a century, where even today people are sent to labor camps for their faith--the Christian tradition survives.15

politicians, our priests, our newspapers and others with a vested interest in controlling us.” 22

Thus it can be seen that Chisholm set the stage to mold, by using “change agents,” human behavior.

In 1951 UNESCO, “United Nations Educational, Social and Cultural Organization” brought the chain of power behind sensitivity training to a focus by imposing the UNESCO doctrine of “Social Health” on the United States. This was done through the U. N. Joint Commission of Mental Health of which “our” National Education Association with its National Training Laboratories is a member. 24

What is the UNESCO doctrine of social health?

BELIEF IN ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT

In the year 1951 the National Association for Mental Health, part of Health, Education & Welfare, and subordinate to UNESCO and WHO, announced: “The principles of mental health cannot be successfully furthered unless there is acceptance of the concept of world government. “ And then: “Our chief problem is. . . how individual and group resistance to change can be overcome. Or do you prefer, ‘We shall overcome’?” 25

The late Congressman Usher L. Burdick said: “To bring this country into line to accept world government, many things must be done by the U. N. and her agencies, such as UNESCO. First of all, love of country is found by these conspirators to be very deep and hard to destroy. Here UNESCO comes into play, to teach these children, with specially trained teachers, that love of country interferes with loyalty to a world organization, that they must transfer their loyalty to a world organization.”26

The “specially trained teachers” now come, in a steady stream, from the many teachers’ colleges where sensitivity training is mandatory.

The inroads made by the “mental healthers” in the field of education were spotlighted in Life Magazine. An article, New Tests in Our Schools + Three R’s and A P (for psyche) in the September 21, 1962 issue said: 27 “In the first few weeks of the new school year several million pupils from the first grade through senior high school will open examination booklets that pose some surprisingly personal questions. Among some things mentioned by LIFE were:

“Are you too nervous? Most of the time I wish I was dead. I hear strange things when I am alone. I am afraid I am losing my mind.”28

Congressman John Ashbrook (R-Ohio) on October 10, 1962, introduced HR 10508 which would bar psychological testing of students, without advance permission from parents. Ashebrook cited examples of widely used tests which included: “Difficult or impossible to answer questions and tests which pit loyalties of religion, home and parents against each other.” 29

While the Humanist Religion is preached in the public school classrooms, the Humanist censors and book burners have systematically rewritten the textbooks of history, social studies and others to exclude or minimize reference to religious life in America: Jewish history, past or present; Christianity; marriage as the origin and foundation of the Family; words ‘marriage,’ ‘wedding,’ ‘husband,’ 'wife,’ ‘homemaker,’ ‘housewife,’ American military successes or military heroes. Since Humanists are atheists, the falsehood of evolution of man from animals is taught, even though there is not a single shred of evidence to justify it.30

Congressman Don Edward (Calf.) opened the Regional Conference for Humanists of Los Gatos in 1973, speaking on Humanism on Capitol Hill. He reported that much of the Humanist Manifesto has already been enacted into law, and that if the voters will elect a few more good Humanist Congressmen and Senators, they will pass the remainder of the Manifesto into law.

He proposed an Amendment to the Protection of Pupils Rights section (i.e., Section 439 of the General Education Provisions Act requires parental consent for non-scholastic and non-achievement oriented testing).31

The Hatch-Protection of Pupils Rights Amendment passed unanimously by the U. S. Senate in 1978. Excellent regulations were drafted in 1982 by conservatives in the Office of The General Counsel. They have not seen the light of day because Secretary Bell doesn’t like them.32

Bell writes: “They may disturb educationists “Modus operandi," with their persistent efforts to change the values, attitudes and beliefs of students to bring about a socialist/humanist One World Government.” 33

The movement to socialize America via education was largely financed by foundation funds. Rockefeller and Carnegie funds provided financing for the radical movement in education which was led by such people as Counts, Dewey, Kilpatrick and Rugg. Direct grants were made to the National Education Association, American Historical Association, Teachers College and Columbia University.

of God's ordinance the armies of trial march forth in array, clad in their iron armour, and armed with weapons of war. All providences are doors to trial. Even our mercies, like roses, have their thorns. Men may be drowned in seas of prosperity as well as in rivers of affliction. Our mountains are not too high, and our valleys are not too low for temptations: trials lurk on all roads. Everywhere, above and beneath, we are beset and surrounded with dangers. The balloon never rises until the cords are cut; affliction doth this sharp service for believing souls. While the wheat sleeps comfortably in the husk it is useless to man, it must be threshed out of its resting place before its value can be known. Thus it is well that Jehovah trieth the righteous, for it causeth them to grow rich towards God.

Two spirits are operating, it is important that the church pray for the discerning of spirits. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world,” --1 John 4:1-3.
