Poeticact through thought provoking poetry and music they tell their story of life. The lyricist Cath-erine Martindale, is the lead vocalist and Isabel Meadowcroft accompanies her in a vocal technique which enhances the powers of the words being spoken. Their

sound is inspired by Portuguese Fado as they tell of life’s experiences. Vic-tor Meadowcroft the band’s percussionist and Blake Kennick the band’s guitarist, entwine their musical abilities to mould into perfection the sound of pure musical po-etry.

What is it? A Digital Com-munication and Promotional Tool used to provide exclu-sive digital coverage of live events in commercial and non commercial businesses/organisations etc. Used exclusively for live forums, training groups, debates and social groups. Potentially, audiences are given the op-portunity to interact during or after the event.

How will it work? M.I.O will comprise of a small dig-ital fi lm unit who will record live events so that they can be potentially broadcasted, ideally on the internet, dur-ing live transmission or as a digital document.

What are the benefi ts? To encourage constant commu-nication and essentially help encourage active participa-tion from viewers.
