Item No.8.1 8.l.Permission for expending funds for the purchase of AC
Office of Suchitwa Mission is functioning in the basement floor (-1) ofSwaraj Bhavan. During Summer one portion of the space allotted toSuchitwa Mission experiences exorbitant heat and poor ventilation and
it is uncomfortable to the staff accommodated there. Therefore, two AirConditioners were purchased on quotation basis for rooms of the
Directors. In this regard an amount of Rs.67,150/- was expended. The

l'he N4inistrl of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MDWS) has

independent surl'ey agency to develop ranking of states and districts oflndia lor thc hrst time on the basis of quantitdtive and qualitative
sar,itation (Su,achhata) pararneters. The mode of evaluation includes
direct nroritoring of public places. responses frorr citizen and inflr,rentialpcrsons anci improventents in the level of sanitation services with a
u,eightagc of 30%. 35% and 35%r,.
The serr.ice level improvement r.vill be evaluated based ofi the Integratecl
Managemer"rt Infbrmation Systern (IMIS) of the $4inistry of Drinkir-rg
Water and Sanitation. The n-ror-ritoring of public placcs rvill be done
through site visit u,ith the help of cluestionnaire. maps, recording
