Minutes of Open House Meeting 1. Name of the Office : Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Regional Office, Ankleshwar 2. Date : 28/06/2017 3. Venue : Auditorium Hall, Ankleshwar Industries Association, GIDC, Ankleshwar 4. Time : 11:00 Hrs. 5. Nos. of Industries’ Participants : 125 (List attached) 6. Details of Open House : This special open house meeting was organized for Ankleshwar, Panoli & Jhagadia GIDC areas under the jurisdiction of the Regional Office, Ankleshwar to make the industries aware about the various initiatives taken by GPCB under the “Ease of Doing Business”. Industries’ representatives had participated in large numbers. In presentation on the subject matter, Regional Officer briefed about What is “Ease of Doing Business” and the various initiatives of GPCB for ease of doing business in general, such as online ID/password through IFP portal, CTE validity for 7 years, extended validity of 7 years for Orange category units & 10 years for Green category units, reduced time limit of processing applications, giving updates on SMS reg. status of application, sharing inspection details online for transparency, immediate availability of granted consents online and many others to facilitate the beneficiaries. He thereafter explained elaborately about the two schemes; (1) Auto-renewal of CTE/CTO & (2) Exemption to Green & Orange Category units from GPCB inspections subject to certain conditions. The participants were made aware about the relevant circulars/office orders of the Board, pre-requisites/criteria decided & the online procedures to avail benefit of the schemes. He also explained about the self certification of compliance to be furnished by the unit to avail the benefit of the above mentioned schemes. He clarified that the auto-renewal scheme can only be applicable where there is no change in any project parameters &/or environmental aspects. Detailed discussions & deliberations were made regarding the various provisions of both the schemes. Participants were encouraged to take benefit of these schemes.
