The Minute™ series of protein extraction kits (patents pending), developed by Invent Biotechnologies, Inc., are excellent tools for rapid and easy protein extraction/iso-lation from a variety of species, including but not limited to, mammalian, marine animals, insects, plants, and bac- teria. Unlike any other protein extraction kit in the market, these next generation protein extraction kits employ op-timized buffer systems coupled with state of the art pro-prietary filter cartridge technologies (spin column) for total protein extraction, cell fractionation, and membrane pro-tein isolation. The kits offer numerous advantages over other competing products in terms of speed, ease of use, and performance.

The Minute™ protein extraction kits can be used with as little as 20 µl of buffer, and can take as little as 1 or 2 minutes to go from cells or ground tissue to extracted pro-tein. RIP-Chip is a technology used to identify functionally rela-ted mRNAs and other RNAs associated with RNA binding proteins (RBP). RBPs regulate and coordinate the transla-tion of multiple mRNAs and the activity of noncoding regu-latory RNAs. This technology helps identify and understand functionally related genes in diseased cells and developing systems.RIP-Chip works on a similar principle to the widely used ChIP-Chip. It allows immunoprecipitation of ribonucleopro-teins (RNPs), with or without crosslinking, from cell extracts using an antibody raised against the RBP of interest. The simple RIP procedure is then followed by microarray (chip) analysis. Bench Top Fermenters

Our fermenter units are designed for easy bench-top handling. They are easy to use and combine practical as-pects with low costs. The fermenter units have a capacity of either 100 ml or 1 to 2 liters. Each unit has a series of ports. Every port is sealed by a heavy duty screw cap with silicone washer or septum. A magnetic stir bar is included as well as long 10 cm needles for taking samples through the septa. The units fit into even the smallest of upright autoclaves. ELISA-VIDITEST and IF-VIDITEST anti-HHV-6 kits are intended for the serological diagnosis of diseases asso-ciated with HHV-6 infection, such as exanthema subitum, acute respiratory illnesses, diarrhoea with fever and fe-brile seizures in infants, heterophile antibody-negative in-fectious mononucleosis in children, also interstitial pneu-monia, encephalitis, meningitis, hepatitis, and aplastic anemia in immunodeficient patients. The presence of IgG anti-HHV-6 antibody reveals the immune status of the patient. Seroconversion or 4-fold rise in antibody titer in paired serum samples, taken in acute and convalescent phase of the infection, is indicative of the active infection.
