• The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders ended their season this weekend with a loss to Indianapolis in the Governors’ Cup series…the RailRiders won their 10th IL North Division title, their first since 2012…led the league with a .271 BA (1,332-for-4,915) and 622 runs scored.

• OF Ben Gamel was named a postseason All-Star and the International League Rookie of the Year…ranked in the top-3 of the IL in BA (3rd, .304), hits (3rd, 146), slugging percentage (2nd, .476), triples (T-1st, 13), extra base hits(3rd, 29), runs (3rd, 79), total bases (2nd, 229) and outfield assists (1st, 13).

• RHP Kyle Davies finished the season tied for third in the IL with 11 wins and led all RailRiders starters with a 3.30 ERA (152.2IP, 56ER)…his 152.2IP were good for sixth-most in the league.

• OF Aaron Judge split the 2015 season with Trenton and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre…led all Yankees minor leaguers with 20HR and 74RBI.

• The Trenton Thunder concluded their season with a record of 71-71 and finished third in the Eastern League’s Eastern Division…the Thunder pitching staff ranked third in the league with a 3.41 ERA (1,256.0IP, 475ER) and 1,027K.

• SS Tyler Wade finished the season batting .325 (13-for-40) over his last 10G.• RHP Caleb Smith concluded the season with a team-high 10 wins and 92K…went 2-1 with a 1.42 ERA (25.1IP, 4ER) over his final 4GS including a

seven-inning complete-game victory on 9/5 in his last appearance of the season…ranked 11th in the EL with a 3.37 ERA (136.2IP, 49ER).• CF Jake Cave led the Thunder in hits (136), runs (68), doubles (22), triples (5), and walks (43) over his 125G with Trenton this season.

• The Tampa Yankees finished the second half of their season 32-36, good for third in the FSL North Division…Tampa went 66-72 over the course of the entire 2015 season…the Tampa Yankees’ pitching staff led the FSL with 1,074K on the season and held opponents to a league best .234 batting average (1,052-for-4,493) and a .295 OBP.

• SS Tyler Wade was selected to the 2015 Florida State League Postseason All-Star Team…was promoted to Double-A Trenton on 8/5…during his time with Tampa, led the team with 103H and batted .280 (103-for-368) with 51R, 11 doubles, 5 triples, 2HR, 28 RBI, 39BB and 31SB in 98G.

• OF Ericson Leonora finished the season tied for third with 13HR and tied for sixth with 63RBI in the Florida State League.• RHP Cale Coshow, RHP Jonathan Holder and LHP Chaz Hebert each finished the season with a team-high seven wins for Tampa.• RHP Gabriel Encinas ranked third in the Florida State League with 116K.

• The Charleston RiverDogs concluded the second half with a 32-38 record, good for fifth in the SAL Southern Division…Charleston finished 66-74 over the course of the entire 2015 season…the RiverDogs’ pitching staff led the SAL with 1,161K on the season.

• LHP Justin Kamplain was named the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week for games played 8/31-9/7…went 1-0 over two scoreless outings, allowing just 9H and 0BB while notching 11K in 12.1IP…ranked second in the South Atlantic League with 119K…led Charleston with 136.1IP.

• OF Austin Aune led the RiverDogs with 102H, 10 triples, 8HR, 49RBI and 175TB in 112G…was second on the team in runs (48) and doubles (29).

• The Staten Island Yankees dropped the opening game of the New York-Penn League Finals, 4-3 on Monday…Staten Island tied the game at 3-3 in the eighth inning but fell in extra innings…the Yankees will return home for the final two games of the series and look to clinch their seventh league title since 2000 and first since 2011.

• RHP Luis Cedeno (6.0IP, 0R, 1BB, 8K) tossed six scoreless innings in relief…allowed 3ER-or-fewer in each of his last seven regular season starts, going 2-1 with a 3.12 ERA (34.2IP, 12ER) over that span…tied a career high with 8K (also: 4/30/15 at Asheville).

• LF Zack Zehner (2-for-4, 1R, 1 double, 1HR, 2RBI) gave Staten Island an early lead with a second-inning solo HR…recorded the Yankees only multi-hit performance of the contest.

• RHP James Kaprielian will take the mound tonight in Game 2 of the series…has allowed 3ER-or-fewer in each of his six starts in the Yankees organization this season while holding opponents scoreless in three of those starts…won his first start of the postseason, allowing only 1ER over 6.0IP, (4H, 0BB, 4K) against the Tri-City ValleyCats on 9/9.
