Our reply is given below ad seriatim: (1) The registration of vehicles of diplomatic and consular Missions, Posts/officers is done as per Rule 76 of the Central MotorVehicles Rules, 1989, a documentwhich is available in the public domain. (2) As far as allotment of country number to a vehicle of a diplomaUdiplomatic Mission/Post is concerned, it is a classified information. Disclosure of this information may prejudicially affect lndia's relations with the concerned foreign State/s.
