Paper Cranes for Japan Project http://studentsrebuild.org/japan/

Make Paper Cranes, Rebuild Communities On Friday, March 11, 2011, a massive earthquake struck Sendai, Japan, resulting in a devastating tsunami that ravaged the coast just 180 miles from Tokyo. In response, Students Rebuild partnered with DoSomething.org, to ensure students worldwide have a way to support their Japanese peers.Help Japan by making paper cranes. These simple yet powerful gestures will trigger a $200,000 donation from the Bezos Family Foundation - $2 for each crane received - to Architecture for Humanity's reconstruction efforts in Japan. Once we reach our goal of 100,000 submissions, the cranes will be woven into an art installation - a symbolic gift from students around the globe to Japanese youth.See stories and pictures and "like" the Facebook page.

Board 800 is an interactive multi-user (shared) whiteboard application that can be used for teaching, collaborative live training, brainstorming, and more. It is a great free application for students and teachers to use for up to 90 days, at which point the shared space is deleted. The site offers a lot of great functionality that is sure to make collaboration fun and easy.

Bembo's Zoo http://www.bemboszoo.com/ Bembo's Zoo is a very simple site that allows students to select a letter of the alphabet and then watch an animal's name (starting with that letter) morph into the

animal itself. Simple, but very beautiful and effective.
