Press and hold On button for 1-second to reset the scale to zero. (ZERO symbol will show in the display) Press and hold On button for 3 sec to shut off the scale. Unit Exchange Press Unit button to change the unit on the scale. The sequence for the scales’ unit shows as : g(gram), oz(ounce), ct (carat), dwt(penny weight) or ozt(troy ounce) Tare Function Place an empty container on the scale. After the reading is stable, press Tare button for 2-seconds to go into tare mode. The LCD will display Tare and Net symbols, and the reading becomes zero. In this situation the Zero symbol “0” will not be displayed. • Place object into the container. The net weight will show on the display. Press Tare button once, the gross weight (the container and the object weight combined) will show on the display. • Press Tare button again. The scale will show the net weight of tare object. • Remove the tare object – leaving nothing on the scale. (zero and tare will display at the same time). The Tare symbol will be cleared when you turn off tare function. Press the Tare button for 2-seconds to shut off the tare function. Choose the desired number of sample pieces by pressing pcs button. The display sequence shows as the following: 10>20>50>10. Stop pressing when the display shows your desired sample pieces. Leave selected number on the scale for 2-seconds for the sample pieces to be set as the default. Press pcs button to go to sampling function. S=10(10 pieces), S=20(20 pieces), or S=50(50 pieces) depending on the default sample pieces setting. Put on the tray the exact number of sample pieces which is shown on the display. Press pcs button again to confirm, "CAL" will show on the display when the scale is doing the samples calculation. After the calculation is done, the number of sample pieces which you had selected (10, 20 ,or 50) and the Pcs symbol will show on the display. Scale is ready to do sampling. Place the object(s) on scale. The scale will count the sample pieces and will show amounts on the display. Holding Result for 5-seconds After an object is placed on the scale, the objects weight will be displayed. Buzzer will sound when the result is stable. After buzzer has sounded, the object can be removed from the scale and the result will stay on the display for 5-seconds. Auto Shut Off The scale will automatically turn off after 3 minutes to save energy. Low Battery Indication Low battery symbol will show on the display if the battery is low. Battery Requirement: 2 x CR2032 batteries (included). Resetting the Scale When the scale does not respond, remove, and reinstall the batteries to reset scale. CAUTION If the zero point is not stable, "UNST" will be displayed. The Total weight on the scales is 300 grams. If the scale exceeds its capacity, then "EEEE" will display. Detach the cover from the scale by pushing straight down. Re-attach the cover by pushing scale down onto the lid and snapping the hinge back in place. Separate cover and place on top of scale.

What Does This Warranty Not Cover?• This warranty DOES NOT COVER:• damage due to misuse, abuse, alteration, unauthorized repair, or

accident (such as improper electrical current);• damage due to “acts of God” (such as lightning) or other contingencies

beyond our control;• cosmetic damage;• externally generated static, signal reception or antenna problems not

caused by your Product; or batteries.• This warranty also DOES NOT COVER, and in no case will we be

liable for, any incidental damages (such as transportation costs to and from an authorized service provider, or loss of time) or consequential damages (such as costs of repairing or replacing other property which is damaged, including tapes, discs, speakers not included with your Product or other accessories, or external electrical systems) resulting from the use of your Product.
