MATERIALS

• 5800-530 Lion Brand Martha Stewart Crafts Glitter Eyelash: Peridot  1 Ball

• Lion Brand Crochet Hook - Size I-9

• Lion Brand Split Ring Stitch Markers

• Large-Eye Blunt Needles (Set of 6)

• Additional MaterialsFiberfill stuffing

Materials Note:Materials are sufficient to make 3-4 ornaments.

 

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and drawup a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased.

NOTES:

Body is worked in continuous rnds; do not join and do not turn at beg of rnds. A marker is used toindicate the beg of rnd. Move marker up as each rnd is completed.

SMALL ORNAMENTCh 2.Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc at the end of this rnd.Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.Rnd 4: (Sc2tog) 6 times - 6 sc at the end of this rnd.Begin to stuff piece as you work.Rnd 5: (Sc2tog) 3 times - 3 sc at the end of this rnd. Finish stuffing and fasten off, leaving a long tail.Knot tail to make a loop.

MEDIUM ORNAMENTCh 2.Rnds 1 and 2: Rep Rnds 1 and 2 of Small Ornament.Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around - 18 sc at the end of this rnd.

LARGE ORNAMENTCh 2.

Rnds 1-3: Rep Rnds 1-3 of Medium Ornament.Rnds 4-6: Sc in each sc around.Rnds 7-9: Rep Rnds 5-7 or Medium Ornament.Finish stuffing and fasten off, leaving a long tail.Knot tail to make a loop.

FINISHINGTrim tails and weave in ends.
