What is Minecraft?
3
Minecraft is a worldwide phenomenon sandbox game that
allows you to dig/mine, build, and craft. Mine, build, and Craft
what? This game has no limitations to what you can do. The
only limitation to what you can build is your imagination. You
will be playing in a large world of many terrains and no border
limit. This game can be played multiplayer online with other
people or as a single player game. Basically your first job when
you start your game is to punch down wood and use that wood
to craft tools and 2weapons and you also have to use the wood
to create shelter and so on. One day in Minecraft is equal to 10-
20 minutes.
How to play?

What you’re supposed to do from the start of the game is
to gather wood and use them to create tools and also to make
shelter before night time. Because during night time monsters
start to appear and you would be protected inside your house.
As Minecraft days pass by you will improve your shelter to
anyhow you want it to be, and go exploring caves while mining
for minerals, ores to create better tools, building blocks or
weapons. There’s actually no end game here. There is no
mission; you can do whatever you want.

Basic Shelter designs
7
In this game one of the most important aspects is building a house
or shelter. At night time monsters will roam around and you will have to
create a shelter to protect yourself from them. So these are some of the
following shelters that are effective in different situations:
Emergency Shelter:
B= any block
N= None
D= Door.
“This shelter
is only
used in
emergency cases such as when you’re lost and its night time; it’s only
one space for you to be inside. This is more of a temporary base.”

“This is a very efficient way to build a safe house and a safe place
to keep your stuff. During night time no monsters can come to you and
you are safe until morning. It’s also good for online because it would be
harder for people who wants to destroy your house to find your house in
the first place.”
