Seeking a Recruiting Program FaceliftWith over 45,000 clients in the health, wellness, and beauty

industries, MINDBODY makes sure that their clients’ business

management software is in just as good health as the customers

they serve. Simplifying processes like employee scheduling,

point of sale systems, and appointment booking, MINDBODY

is dedicated to providing their clients with efficient solutions.

So when the efficiency of the expanding company’s recruiting

program began to lag, the team decided they needed to make a

change. With qualified tech professionals becoming increasingly

difficult to find, MINDBODY knew it had to act fast — and after

shopping around for an applicant tracking system (ATS), they

found a match in Jobvite.

Measuring Progress with JobviteOne of the first improvements MINDBODY noticed was how

Jobvite streamlined the hiring process. Jobvite’s centralized

repository of candidate information “make[s] it very easy, and

facilitates things for us, so we can look through applications and

find those people very quickly out of just the whole system,” says

Megan Thomas, Talent Acquisition Recruiter at MINDBODY.

Rather than having to manually search for resumes, cover

letters, applicant status, and other information, Jobvite offers

recruiters at MINDBODY “a very efficient way of looking through

applications, batching things, collecting things, and deciding who

it is that we want to bring in to interview.”

MINDBODY has also been able to increase its number of

employee referrals, since Jobvite’s social media integration

“makes it very easy to get jobs out there,” leading to the

MINDBODY referral rate being “right where it needs to be,”

Thomas says. Not only do higher referrals result in greater

cost savings than other forms of sourcing, they also lead to

telling their friends about it. They’re recommending really good

people to us,” Thomas says. And Jobvite has not just caused a

temporary boost in referral hires; rather, it’s consistently proven

its worth. Jobvite referrals, Thomas says, maintain “a steady

pipeline for us, which is really important to our organization.”

MINDBODY has even seen an uptick in its employer brand

awareness. Jobvite’s automated recruiting system has allowed

the recruiting team — as well as company employees — to post

more frequently to targeted sources, increasing the visibility of

the company. “It’s great to have a way for [employees] to... share

[with] their networks about our culture, and that helps us bring in

people who align with our values.”

referral numbers, and promote its employer brand, MINDBODY

saw significant reductions in time-to-hire, as well as cost savings.

And although hiring gets more and more challenging every year,

Thomas expects Jobvite to continue to benefit her company.

“With investigating different technologies, using Jobvite [and]

utilizing the tools that we have to their fullest capacity, it is going

to really help us pull in those hard-to-fill positions,” Thomas says.
