This annual event has become an anticipated family-oriented 5K (3.1 mile) walk and certified run for corporate employees, donors, volunteers and friends. UNCF students attend over 900 colleges and uni- versities. UNCF also sup- ports 37 historically black colleges and universities. The race ended at Veter- ans Park on the Lake Front, where the fun kept going. That’s because there is a family reunion typle at- mosphere with children enjoying activities just for them, entertainment for everyone and, of course, awards for the runners and participating groups.
