Her working life has been diverse ranging from Public Relations to Events management and her experience of dealing with people means she is ideal for this kind of work. Her husband William is a County Councillor for the area and so Lucy has a good awareness of County issues as well. Lucy has been representing Milborne Port for the last four years and is still determined to support and protect an area that she knows and loves. Since being elected she has gained a huge knowledge of this village and now feels she can speak up for the resident’s concerns. She has worked well with the Parish and with them helped to create the Skate Park and the new Play Area along with fighting to keep the Milborne Port Library open. Among other things Lucy aims to ensure that the elderly are well cared for and that vital village services are retained. Lucy wants to be the strong voice calling for more affordable housing for our young people but without the threat of over development and promises to be that voice if she is elected again.
