HIS LIFERakitić was born in Möhlin on 10 March, 1988. Now he is 26 years old.Rakitić started his professional career at FC Basel and spent two seasons with them before he was signed by Schalke 04. After spending three and a half seasons in the German Bundesliga, he was signed by Sevilla in January 2011.

INTERNATIONAL

On the international level, Rakitić plays for the Croatia national team, with Modric and Courtois.He made his debut for Croatia in 2007 and has since represented the country at UEFA Euro 2008 and UEFA Euro 2012.He didn't won never a UEFA EURO or a mundial.They started the mundial of Brasil in 12/6/2014 and they lost 3-1 vs Brasil.They started wining 1-0 whit the goal of Marcelo in onw goal.
