VALVE TECHNOLOGY

At the heart of every Mike Pro thermostatic shower valve is the Vernet CA43 thermostatic cartridge used in all Mike Pro thermostatic shower valves. Vernet’s multi temperature regulation unit provides smooth and precise control over the water temperature.

Endurance The key feature is the copper-wax element – a truly ingenious function that converts temperature change into a highly accurate mechanical movement that will ensure over 100,000 cycles in everyday use

Quality Vernet comes from one of the world’s leading producers of valve cartridges based in France. They’ve developed the CA43 cartridge to give you the best temperature regulation and safety in accordance with British standard NHS D08. Standard temperature ranges are preset to 15-60°C. For Thermal Conductivity, the plastic cartridge bodies offer thermal isolation against heat from water by transferring it to the wax element, creating a more precise operation. A high technology thermoplastic polymer is used to minimise limescale adherence.

Health and SafetyVernet cartridges are designed and produced to fully conform to the requirements of TMV2 and 3, thus providing users of all ages with the peace of mind that water flow and temperature are consistently provided. Each valve is marked to demonstrate compliance. The anti-scald function is individually checked on each cartridge prior to leaving the factory.

CERAMIC DISC CARTRIDGES

The basis for all high quality shower valves is the performance of the turning parts even after it has been used thousands of times. All Mike Pro thermostatic shower valves use Flühs ceramic disc technology - the leading innovator, producer and supplier in the world of water supply products.

Silky smooth operation and water control are characteristic of Flühs products. All raw materials are highly resistant to acid and alkali solutions prevalent in a bathroom (soap, shampoo etc). The ceramic discs themselves provide the very best operation and are highly reliable, even when you have wet and soapy hands. The strength of the ceramic discs is extremely durable to prevent the usual wear and tear, even after years of prolonged use.

PRICES

This price list supersedes all previous publications with goods being invoiced at prices ruling on date of despatch. Prices are subject to alteration without notice and include VAT.

DELIVERY

Orders in excess of £50.00 net invoice value will not be subject to carriage charge and will be delivered within two working days from receipt of order. Orders below £50.00 will be subject to a fixed charge of £5.00. Any claims for non-delivery, shortage or damaged goods must be reported in writing to the company within 7 working days from date of delivery. Such claims will not be accepted for deliveries to a third party delivery address.

RETURNED GOODS

Goods may only be returned for credit after receiving written agreement from the company. Cancelled orders will be subject to a fixed charge of 25%. Damaged goods will not be accepted. Non faulty goods may be returned within 28 days of the purchase date; all returned items should be in the original packaging and will be subject to 25% fixed charge. Special orders are non returnable.

RETENTION OF TITLE

Ownership of goods shall remain in the Company until full payment has been received for all goods comprised in this contract. If any goods are re-sold before payment is made the Company’s right of ownership shall be transferred to the proceeds of sale or to the claim for such proceeds.

LIABILITY

All quotations are given and goods sold subject to the conditions that the seller’s liability is limited to goods proved to have been defective in material or workmanship when they left the sellers works. No claim will be accepted where goods have not been used for the purpose for which they were intended, not fitted correctly, not maintained to the seller’s recommended standards or have been abused or misused.

ERRORS & OMISSIONS

In the interest of continuing design and development and product improvement, Crosswater reserve the right to change colour, designs and product specifications without prior notice.

MAINTENANCE

When installing wall mounted products Crosswater strongly recommend making provisions for an in-wall access point, particularly when tiling, for maintenance purposes.

PROCARE™ CLEANING

The Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome and Brushed Stainless Steel coating we use on our taps is very durable. However, extra care should be taken when cleaning by only using warm soapy water, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying with a soft cloth.

All finishes are vulnerable to acid attack and some strong substances such as household cleaners, disinfectants, bleach, essential oils, denture cleaners, hair dyes, wine making elements and photographic chemicals can cause the surface to go black or peel. Limescale can be removed with a good quality limescale remover such as Viakal P&G.

15 YEAR GUARANTEE*

All Crosswater products, unless otherwise stated carry a 15 year guarantee, which covers all manufacturing defaults. This guarantee does not cover damage during fitting, misuse or inappropriate cleaning, shower hoses or cartridges as these are guaranteed for 1 year. Care should be taken in hard water areas to ensure the cartridge is regularly cleaned.

*All products carry a 15 year guarantee (with the exception of shower hoses and cartridges, which carry a 12 month guarantee).

PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY

Whilst the majority of Crosswater products are compatible, care should be taken on product selection prior to ordering to avoid installation issues. Technical drawings are available on our website or on request.

WRAS/TMV2

WRAS (Water Advisory Regulations Scheme) is a certification body of water suppliers that tests and approves products complying with Water Regulations to ensure a safe water supply. Testing factors include water contamination, misuse, undue consumption and ensures products are of an appropriate standard. WRAS is the most well known approval scheme used to demonstrate compliance, which Crosswater often uses amongst other acceptable methods, for compliance assurance.

Crosswater recognises that all new water fittings must comply with Water Regulations, and therefore is committed to increasing the amount of approved products. This gives Crosswater an advantage to supply products to contracts with Hotels, Residential and other projects that require water compliance certificates. Offering proof of compliance also benefits the customer as this authorises the turn on of water supply when projects are completed.2.

NEO PEARL FLOW REGULATORS

Save money, water and help the environment using Neo-pearl flow regulators in your Mike Pro shower and hand washbasins.

Shower flow regulatorWater flow is regulated to 8 litres per minute using these Neo-Pearl flow regulators, available separately. This water saving element is easy to install and therefore perfect for retrofit. It can be inserted into any female thread 1/2” such as a fixed head or shower hose where it replaces the conventional washer. CODE 58.8638.1 £2.00

Basin mixer flow regulatorFitted as standard in the Mike Pro basin ranges, the Neoperl Caché® Aerator maintains water flow at 5 litres per minute. This hidden aerator ensures both the design and maintenance of the Mike Pro tap is sleeker and easier to maintain. As the aerator is screwed directly into the end of the joint free spout, there is no secondary housing.
