2 Casting Mii Characters

In this game, you get to cast yourfavorite Mii™ characters in the mainroles!You'll be given the chance to dothis at key points in the game, suchas when you enter a new location ora new character is introduced. If youever change your mind about yourcast members, you can change themby selecting Menu → Records →Journal → Mii Cast.

♦ In order to use a Mii from TomodachiLife, you need Tomodachi Life extradata on t he SD Card in y our

Activating the SpotPass™ featureallows you to automatically receiveMii characters created by otherpeople that you can use freely inyour game. Variety is the spice oflife!♦ Data received through SpotPass will

be saved to the SD Card. If the SDCard is not inserted, SpotPass willnot launch.

You can configure your SpotPasssettings when launching the gamefor the first t ime . You can alsoactivate or deactivate SpotPass fromOptions on the title screen.

♦ You cannot post the following types

You can select Postfrom within Party orMii Cast in the menuto post one of yourown Mii characters. Aposted Mii can be used by otherplayers in their games.

♦ SpotPass automatically works whenthe system is turned on and has anInternet connection.

You can save a Mii character's QRCode® to the SD Card.

You can copy a Mii from your teamto Mii Maker.

Change the weapon,hat, and clothes a Miiis currently using. InEdit appearance, youcan change theappearance of c lo thes andequipment without changing the Miicharacter's stats. You can changethe combination of hat and clothesand also remove the hat.

5 Quitting and Saving

Select Save and quit from the menuto quit the game.

The game will save automatically asit progresses. If you quit the gamewithout selecting Save and quit,then the game will restart at the lastautosave po int , but it ' srecommended that you select Saveand quit.

Select Options on the title screen,and dele te your save data byselecting Delete save data.♦ Data canno t be res to red once

deleted, so be careful.

♦ There are points during the gamewhen you cannot select Save andquit.

♦ Photos and QR Code patterns savedto the SD Card will not be deleted.

6 Viewing Stats

The personality, job, and currentlevel of a Mii.

The column gives the statsconferred by a Mii character's job,the column gives stat changesearned from eating grub, and the

column gives the stat changesgained from the currently equippedoutfit and weapon. The totals arelisted in the right-hand column.

7 Battling Better

From top to bottom, this displays aMii character's name, the recoveryitems they're holding, their currentlevel, and their HP and MP gauges.

During battle, you'll be given thechance to choose a command foryour protagonist Mii when his or herturn comes around . The othermembers of your team w il l actautomatically.♦ I f you se l ect Autobat t l e , y our

8 Beefing Up Your Party

Defeating enemies nets you EXP,which increases your characters'levels, improves their stats, and letsthem learn new techniques. If youfind you're fighting enemies that aretoo tough to beat, it might help togo back to previous locations andfight weaker enemies to raise yourcharacters' levels.

Staying at inns gives you the chanceto distribute your loot among theteam and get a good square meal.

Giving gold to team members withan eye for spending can reap manyrewards--they might come back withstronger weapons or out f its o ruseful recovery items.
