Local Capital Projects

Lead the efforts for all project assignment. He will be the principal contact

person between Bacardi, Designer, Contractors, CPM Home Office and CPM

Project Team and will be responsible for the project management and project

execution.

Coordinate the management team in all construction activities and perform

daily inspections to assure compliance with capital plan and client

requirements. Develop and manage the detailed project schedule, identify

project milestones, and ensure the key deliverables are met on time. Evaluate

contractors’ change orders and certifications for payment. Perform project

progress meetings and distribute meeting minutes. Generate project status

reports and monthly project reports. Manage the projects’ Change Control

using the Trackwise System for the compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Work with SAP for the management and control of all aspects of the capital

program.

Responsible for bid management process, design revision and value

engineering.

New RAHU 5 ($250K)

Responsible for all trades management and purchasing for the installation of a

new RAHU 5 dehumidifier Air Handling Unit while minimizing the impact on

operations.

New pH Neutralization System ($250K)

The project consisted of the construction and implementation of an automatic

system for the neutralization of water used for production by Roche. The

objective was to comply with the requirements of the appropriate government

agencies in order to discharge water through PRASA’s sanitary system.

Responsible for all trade management, including design, bids, purchasing,

installation and start-up.

New Fire Pump House ($250K)

Responsible of the daily inspection, project management, supervision and

coordination of activities as a contractor, designer, and owner representative of

the New Fire Pump House. Provide support to commissioning and start-up

operations.

CDM Caribbean Engineers, PSC

PRASA Water Treatment Plant Assessment Program

The program consists in performing assessments to the 80 Filtration Plants

owned by Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA). Responsible for

physical and electromechanical inspection in order to incorporate on the

Preventive Maintenance Integrated Plan.
