MIE WESTH Mie is a skilled community-oriented educational sociologist (MSc of Arts) from Denmark with a talent for multicultural -and interdisciplinary collaboration in addition to planning, implementing and evaluating social change -and development processes, both within local and international organizations. She has over 10 years of experience within the educational paradigm, including family counseling, working with children and youngsters and with physically and mentally challenged individuals. Mie has extensive experience in how to, not only work with, but also how to communicate difficult and complex challenges on several levels. Mie has worked with the design and facilitation of interdisciplinary collaborative processes with citizens’ involvement at focus in several organizations in Denmark and has provided consultancy services to various institutional -and municipal projects and NGOs. On the International arena Mie works as a project manager of an international conference, and has also been instrumental in designing workshops dealing with the implementation of co- creation within The United Nations Development Programme and The International Red Cross in Macedonia as well as other projects in the Nordic countries.
