ELIGIBILITY. Midwest Seasons is open to artists over the age of 18.

Original works should draw inspi-

ration from a season: i.e., spring

awakenings, winter challenges,

autumn color or activities in the

summer sun. Interpretat ions of the

season may be broad and entries are

not limited to representational works.

The CVA reserves the right not to display work

which fails to meet jury expectations.

MEDIA. Eligible techniques include

photography, painting, drawing,

printmaking, papermaking, sculpture,

ber, textiles, ceramics, metal,

glass, wood and mixed media.

JUDGE. Denise Presnell - weiDner,

Is an Associate Professor of Art as well as the current Chair of the CreativeArts Division at Lakeland College in Sheboygan, WI, where she has beenteaching for 22 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Printmakingand Drawing from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and she holds aMFA in Painting and Drawing from Pennsylvania State University.

She is an award winning painter/printmaker/pastel artist represented bymany galleries including: Gallery KH in Chicago, Grace Chosy Gallery inMadison, Katie Gingrass Gallery in Milwaukee, Two Fish Gallery in Elkhart Lake,

WI and RiverEdge Galleries in Mishicot, WI. She has exhibited her work innumerous international,national, regional and local competitive exhibitions.In addition to numerous solo, group and invitational exhibitions in the UnitedStates, Japan, and Africa. Her work is included in numerous national andinternational corporate and private collections.

LIABILITY. All work selected for the exhibition will be insured by the CVA

against damage and theft while in the care of the gallery. Every precaution

will be taken in handling / exhibiting the works. Entrants are responsible

for insuring work while in transit to and from the exhibition. All work must

remain in the gallery for the entirety of the show. Any irregularities must be

reported within 30 days of return of art work. Submission of this application

form constitutes agreement to all conditions listed in this prospectus.

SALES. Artists are encouraged to place their work for sale. If a piece of

artwork is sold, a tax deductible donation of 33% of the sale price will be

retained by the CVA. Sold work must remain in the gallery the entire length

of the exhibit. Payment will be made to the artist after the exhibit closes.

ENTRY PROCESS CHECK LIST.

Digital images on disc can be saved as a

high resolution (300 dpi) jpeg, tiff, or pdf on a

disc. Only images entered for jury

consideration should be saved to disc. Weno longer accept slides. We are sorry for any

inconvenience.

Label images: artists name, title of work,

media, image size (h/w/d) and entry #.

Include a $25 non-refundable entry fee (for up to 3 entries).

Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope, must be large enough

to t C.Ds with images, for artist notication and return of non-accepted

images. Accepted images on disc will be retained for archives and may be

reproduced for educational and / or publicity purposes.
