Middlesbrough Football Club Spectators’ Code of Conduct 2020/21 Season All Spectators that enter the Ground acknowledge that the measures and restrictions in place at the Ground place personal responsibility on every individual for adhering to the requirements including, but not limited to, those relating to social distancing, personal hygiene, testing and reporting health issues and self-isolating and quarantining. Each Spectator must accept that these provisions are required to protect the health and wellbeing of themselves and others. In respect of each Match: ü You are responsible for deciding whether or not you should attend any Match and, prior to attending each Match, carry out a personal risk assessment based on your own age, health and susceptibility to infection and clinical vulnerability and of those in your household or support bubble (based on government guidelines) ü You must not attend the Match or the Ground if you or any member of your household or social bubble have or develop any COVID-19 symptoms ü You must keep the contact details you have provided to the Club up to date and accurate at all times in order to assist with NHS track and trace requirements ü Social distancing measures should be maintained at all times when travelling to and from the Ground and in all parts of the Ground including the car parks and Fan Zone areas ü You are encouraged to adhere to government advice in relation to face coverings particularly when queuing and in enclosed or indoor areas such as concourses and toilets ü You must only attend Matches with people in the same social bubble as you ü You must not allow any other person to use your Season Card or ticket for any reason ü Be clear on your entry point to the Ground and the entry time specified on your ticket ü Taxis and vehicles dropping spectators off will not be granted access to the Stadium car park. ü Follow any directional signage in place

ü A one way system will operate in areas of the Ground including some gangways. You may have to go up the stairs of one gangway to descend another in order to get to your seat

ü You must only sit in the seat allocated to you and must not move or change seats for any reason unless requested to do so by Club staff

ü You must remain in your seat at all times wherever possible

ü If you do need to leave your seat, wait for a time that the gangway is clear and, if passing any person outside your social bubble in the seated row, you must turn your back as you pass (“brush past”) in order to avoid face to face contact

ü If a ball is kicked into the seating area the ball must be passed to a steward or ball person and NOT thrown directly to any player or onto the pitch

ü Close physical contact, including handshakes, hugs and celebrations, with anyone not in your social bubble must be avoided

ü You must take care when shouting, singing or celebrating

ü You must show respect for other spectators and Club staff and representatives at all times and obey instructions from Club staff and PA announcements

ü You must cover your cough and sneezes, ideally with a tissue but otherwise into your elbow, and maintain excellent hand hygiene by regularly washing your hands (for 20 seconds) with soap often or using hand sanitiser

ü All internal concessions and kiosks will be closed. Limited external catering facilities may be

available including in the Fan Zone areas in the car parks

ü You are permitted to bring one 500ml bottle of water/soft drink with you to the Ground

ü You are encouraged to make contactless payments within the Ground
