Year on Year Comparison
The report indicates both posi�ve and nega�ve trends in this
quarter. The Number of Ac�ve Clients, Number of Ac�ve Savers,
and Amount of Savings increased by 1.8%, 0.9%, and 4.1%
respec�vely. Number of Ac�ve Borrowers, and Gross Loan
Por�olio decreased by 1.5%, and 1.3% respec�vely. Por�olio At
Risk (PAR) has increased by 0.6%.
FINCA Afghanistan, Mutahid DFI, FMFB Afghanistan, OXUS
Afghanistan, and ARFC remained opera�onally self-sufficient.
A total of 40,902 loans were disbursed showing an increase of
11.4% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2018. Helmand, Kunarha,
and Herat are the provinces with highest PAR of 81%, 43%, and
15% respec�vely.
OXUS Afghanistan, FMFB Afghanistan, and FINCA Afghanistan are
the ins�tu�ons with posi�ve growth rate of 3.3%, 1.3%, and 1.2%
respec�vely in terms of GLP, and FINCA Afghanistan, Mutahid, and
FMFB Afghanistan with 2.3%, 1.4%, and 0.9% in terms of number
of borrowers.

the Ministry of Rural Rehabilita�on and Development (MRRD).
