SESSIONS January 29, 2015 - Making the 2014 Farm Bill Election The 2014 Farm Bill provides three different rick management options for managing risk for your farm business. This session will highlight the farm bill calculator and be an opportunity to discuss the different options with OSU and FSA Experts.

February 5, 2015 - Seed Technology and Weed Control The management of pesticide resistance, new super weeds, and introduction (and possible introduction) of more seed technology that will allow better weed control needs to be managed. Come and learn about the challenges and opportunities in weed control.

February 12, 2015 - Soil Fertility Decisions/Recommendations With profit margins tightening, managing fertilizer input costs is more than just getting the best price. Also with concerns over water quality and the need to be proactive in managing nutrient leaching/runoff, farmers need to be increasing the intensity in nutrient management on their fields.

February 26, 2015 - Storage and Transportation of fuel, fertilizer and pesticides Learn about the current rules and regulations concerning on-farm storage of fuel, fertilizer and pesticides and what you need to be to stay in compliance. Moving these products from the farm to the field also has a set of rules and regulations that will be discussed as well.
