Project Abstract

Automatic plant Irrigation system (AT89C2051)

The Project presented here waters your plants regularly when you are out for vocation. The circuit comprises sensor parts built using op-amp IC LM324. Op-amp’s are configured here as a comparator. Two stiff copper wires are inserted in the soil to sense the whether the Soil is wet or dry. The Microcontroller was used to control the whole system it monitors the sensors and when more than two sensors sense the dry condition then the microcontroller will switch on the motor and it will switch off the motor when all the sensors are in wet. The microcontroller does the above job it receives the signals from the sensors, and this signals operated under the control of software which is stored in ROM.

It contains all the necessary electronics to allow you to store, delete, and verify fingerprints with just the touch of a button. Stored fingerprints are retained even in the event of complete power failure or battery drain.These eliminates the need for keeping track of keys or remembering a combination password, or PIN. It can only be opened when an authorized user is present, since there are no keys or combinations to be copied or stolen, or locks that can be picked.

Interactive Voice Response System For College Automation (IVRS)

Now a day every institution needs automation. As a part of college automation, we have decided to do a project “Voice Interactive System for College Automationâ€. Our project allows the user to know the student’s �attendance and marks quickly through the telephone line without the intention of the college authority. In the hardware side embedded system has been used. A 20 pin microcontroller 89C2051 is used because of its compatibility with our hardware. This microcontroller controls the whole hardware. Telephone line is used for communication purpose. Visual Basic has been used for software programming. Presentation in the class and outcome of the university are made reachable to the parents by our project. It will be very obliging to the parents to be acquainted with their son’s/daughter’s recital in the college.

RFID Based Attendance System (AT89S52 + RFID)

The attendance system is basically an embedded one. Embedded stands for ‘hardware controlled by software’. Here, the software using a Microcontroller controls all the hardware components. The microcontroller plays an important role in the system.The main objective of the system is to uniquely identify and to make attendance for a person. This requires a unique product, which has the capability of distinguishing different person. This is possible by the new emerging technology RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). The main parts of an RFID system are RFID tag (with unique ID number) and RFID reader (for reading the RFID tag). In this system, RFID tag and RFID reader used are operating at 125KHz. The EEPROM used for storing the details has the capability of storing 256 person details at a time. The PC can be used for restoring all the details of attendance made.This report provides a clear picture of hardware and software used in the system. It also provides an overall view with detailed discussion of the operation of the system.

Project Abstract

RFID Based Security System (AT89S52 + RFID)

This project aimed to develop a wireless system to detect and allow only the authorized persons. The system was based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and consists of a passive RFID tag. The passive micro transponder tag collects power from the 125 KHz magnetic field generated by the base station, gathers information about the Tag ID and sends this information to the base station. The base station receives, decodes and checks the information available in its Database and Manchester code was used to send those information. The system performed as desired with a 10cm diameter antenna attached to the transponder. The Base Station is built by using the Popular 8051 family Microcontroller. It gets the tag ID and if the tag ID is stored in its memory then the microcontroller will allow the person inside.

RFID Reader Module, are also called as interrogators. They convert radio waves returned from the RFID tag into a form that can be passed on to Controllers, which can make use of it. RFID tags and readers have to be tuned to the same frequency in order to communicate. RFID systems use many different frequencies, but the most common and widely used Reader frequency is 125 KHz.

Telephone controlled Remote switch (AT89S52)

This Project is used to control our household electrical devices from any where through the cell phone. The circuit consists of a DTMF tone detector and a powerful 8 bit Microcontroller AT89S52. The microcontroller controls all the system. In this project we control total six devices. The Microcontroller senses the DTMF signal through the DTMF decoder IC MT8870 and it switch on/off the corresponding devices according to the user need. The circuit has an inbuilt phone ring sensor circuit and the system will take over the phone control if it was not taken manually.Press the corresponding numbers to turn on/off the devices, for ex: press 1 to turn on/off device 1, press 0 to switch off all devices, press 9 to switch on all devices, press 8 to disconnect the telephone.

Home Security System(AT89S52)

Security is a prime concern in our day-today life. Everyone wants to be as much secure as possible. An access control for doors forms a vital link in a security chain. The Microcontroller based Home Security System can be adopted at Home it has various type of Sensors. In our Project we have magnetic sensors, Wire Loop sensors, Fire sensors. The system is fully controlled by the 8 bit microcontroller AT89C52 which has a 8Kbytes of ROM for the program memory. The Microcontroller will continuously monitors all the Sensors and if it found any security problem then the Microcontroller will switch on the Alarm until the Reset button was Pressed.

RF Based Remote control (AT89C2051)

The Project Long Range Remote Control can be used to remotely control a number of Electrical or Electronic Gadgets connected to it. Unlike Infra Red remote control, this Project employs FM transmission and Reception, and hence it can be used for comparatively longer range.Any gadget can be switched on/off by keying the number allocated to it. The Receiver is made up of the famous 8 bit Microcontroller from Atmel. The Microcontroller is used as the Master in the receiver end which is used to control all the devices. It decodes the Signal from the transmitter and control the relays according to the signal. For transmission we are using frequency modulation at the frequency of 433.92Mhz.

HOME/ OFFICE SECURITY SYSTEM (8051 BASED)

  

  Securiy is a matter of great concern to all of us in this world. Normally there are four types of security threat to our property. 1 )Thief, an inturder. 2)Fire, so we use fire sensor. 3)Water spilage /over flow, so we use water sensor. 4) Gas leak , we use gas sensor, whenever there is security breach from one of above or any combination of above. The project takes the following action 1) Sounds an ALARM to attract your or public attention . 2) If the reset sw is not pressed within 30 seconds the projects takes further action, 3) It makes an emergency call to deliver an emergency message stored in speech IC. 4) It will make five attempts to call you before it checks the conditions again. The project presented here is based on world’ s most powerful intel’ s mcs-51 family of microcontroller atmel at89c51.

GSM controlled door latch opener with security autodial-up

the said project is designed on the  dtmf decoding.our modern telephone and even our mobile phone uses dtmf coding for number dialing. these dtmf codes can be decoded and utilised for useful purposes. the circuit utilises ic8870 for dtmf decoding  . microcontroller 89c51 reads these codes and takes the necessary action. door latch can be opened by entering the correct password , you can also connect security sensors of your choice ,in case of any breach of security takes place , the device will dial out the prestored number and delivers an emergency message.

controller 8051. most of the services provided in todays world are voice

interactive, you call up your bank and computrised voice will speak to you,and

guide you to enter a particular number from your phone to get the desired

service.this service is only available through the fast speed computers and

having huge ammount of memory.we emplemented interactive service for

industrial applications

you can switch on/off devices using your mobile phone or land line phone

eight numbers loads can be connected to the eight relay provided.not only

you can switch on /off devices it will also dial out a telephone number in case

of security threat,or any safety  or  protection parameters  goes beyond safety

limit. in case of any of the above ,  for ex. temperature of the machionery has

gone beyond safety limit ,the device will first switch off the plant and dials out

the prestored telephone number and delivers the emergency message. it will

dial out foe five times at the interval of one minute and again monitor the

parameters, and if the parameters are not withen limit again it will dial out .

this cycle will repeate until the parameters becomes normal.

433mhz radio modules commercially available. each relay can handle up to

7ampers of current at 230 v ac.  this can be used on sevral types of loads such

as induction motors ,control equipments,dc motors magentic

solenoids,actuators pumps dooropeners.or even home or in office to control

electrical equipments

remote transmitter is powered by two aa3 pencil cells has low power

consumption ,can last for more then a month. presenttly with two cells, the

operating range is twenty five yards  and it can be increased vith suitable

external antenna and 6v power supply at transmitter.
