Council of Organizations of the Ateneo Central Board Elections 2012-2013: Electoral Form

1. BRIDGING INSTITUTIONS, FOR REPRESENTATION

Details:

A. Visibility & Cluster Awareness Campaign: This campaign would focus on making the executive board and members aware that

they are part of a bigger picture outside the walls of their organizations. This will include the “Meet the presidents and EB

campaign” before the start of the school year, BC Recweek video to foster unity and rapport between the organizations.

B. Standardized consultation, feedback and lobbying system: An online form that will allow the presidents and executive board

members to voice out freely their concerns regarding certain projects, offices, regulations and violations. Aside from the online

form, the BC CHeST would also sit-in EB meetings regularly to be able to have a more in-depth awareness of what the

organization is doing and hopefully, to better cater to their needs.

C. Institutionalize BCB meetings: Regular Business Cluster Board meetings will be set prior the beginning of the semester so as to

have regular updates with the progress of the orgs and the efforts done by COA.

2. SOCIAL RELEVANCE & EXTERNALIZATION THROUGH NETWORKING

Details:

A. Creating ties with external groups whose aims are also in line with doing good business (i.e. Integrity-Initiative program of the

European Chamber of Commerce)

Partnerships can be utilized for future cluster efforts such as SOMweek,

B. BC Gives Back: culminating activity that will utilize the core competencies of the 8 Business Cluster organizations to help the

Ateneo community or a particular cause. This will be the Business Cluster’s way of manifesting “Good Business” in Ateneo.

This may be done during SOM week.

3. SPECIALIZED TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT, FOR FORMATION AND SUSTAINABILITY

Details:

A. BC Summit: specialized trainings conducted for the executive boards of the business organizations that would focus on the

recurring problems of the Business cluster such as project management, teamwork and healthy competition. This will also be a

good avenue to collaborate with other orgs such as AIESEC AdMU or Ateneo Code who specialize on training and

development.

B. Mid Year BC Report – evaluations/feedback conducted by the BC CHeST from the offices and executive Board. The evaluations

will be specialized depending on the structure, goals and needs of the organization. This will be presented to the President during

the BC Evaluation Seminar for a more constructive and objective evaluation.

C. BenchmarC: avenue for the executive boards to discuss their best practices among six department categories grouped using the 4

OD goals and the CC goal. This will be done during the first week of November and last week of February for transition.

4. COLLABORATIONS, FOR SYNERGY

Details:

Promote project collaborations with other organizations from other clusters for diversification and synergy. This will also allow the BC

organizations to see the bigger picture outside the walls of BC. Aside from project collaborations, inter-org gatherings will be organized to

strengthen the rapport between the Business Cluster Organizations.
