ExperiencegeneralC.A.S.E.S Scheme - reintroduce the C.A.S.E.S Scheme to improve engagement between Clubs, Societies and the Union.
SPORTTermly Instalments - introduce the opportunity for students to pay theirmemberships in instalments, this has the potential to break down a barrier of participating in sport.
Priority Bookings – transparency and communication needs to be improved.
Reassess the IntraMural programme – there is a need to reassess the intramural programme and discover ways to make it better.
Community Links – investigate the possibilities to create links within the community such as sponsorship, coaching or facility sharing.
Sports Scholarships - to continue the link with Brunel Sport to make the decision on who receives scholarships.
Varsity - I would like to ensure that our opinions about Varsity are heard by St. Mary's.
SOCIETIESSociety Training – is not adequate and needs to be improved.
3 Year Membership – Re-examine the option of 3 year membership for our societies.
The Funding Structure – Maintain the funding structure and potentially improve it with more money.
r.a.gRAG Forums – communication needs to be improved between clubs/so-cieties and the RAG chair and committee.
Joint Fundraising Events - I feel clubs/societies want to raise money for their own cause.
RAG Training – I’d like to make it mandatory that the RAG chair, VPSA and members of the committee go on training to understand charity law.
Charity Question Time – provides an opportunity for charities to explain to students their purpose.
MEDIAMedia Funding – investigate the possibility of allocating money for media.
Media Training – I’d like to introduce training for the individuals who get elected.
Increase National Engagement – NUJ works closely with NUS to provide training and workshops, but Brunel do not attend these events.
VOLUNTEERINGExternal Events – investigate the option of providing more external events.
Community Action Day’s – instead of having a community week, I’d like to introduce a community action day each month.
On-Campus Events – investigate the option of running more on-campus events such as Be Brunel.
