About  Michael  Douce    Michael   Douce   has  been  playing  the  piano  since  before  the  age  of  three,   studying   both  classical   piano   and  jazz   piano   intensively  at   times   during   the  past   25   years.     He  earned  his  Bachelor  of  

Science   degree   from   Butler   University,   double-­‐majoring   in   jazz   piano   performance   and  recording  studies.    His  Master  of  Science  degree  came   from   Indiana   University,   furthering   his  studies  in  music  technology  at  IUPUI.    In  addition  to   being   a   freelance   musician,   Michael   teaches  courses  in  music  technology  at  Butler  University  and   leads   worship   at   Old   Bethel   United  Methodist  Church.    Michael   has   given   performances   across   the  United   States   and   internationally.     Some   of   his  most  notable  performances  have  been  with  such  music  greats  as  Stephen  Clapp  (dean  emeritus  of  the   Juilliard   School   of   Music),   Alex   DePue  (former   national   fiddle   champ)   Mark   Wade  (former   national   hammered   dulcimer   champ),  Bobby   McFerrin   (vocal   jazz   legend),   Manhattan  Transfer,   David   Tolley   (composer   for   Universal,  Disney)  and   Jon  E  Gee  and  Dane  Clark   from   the  John   Mellencamp   Band.     Most   recently,   he   has  performed  at  international  choral  festivals  in  Sao  Paulo,  Brazil,  and  Hong  Kong,  China.    In   addition   to   performing,  Michael   has   recorded   several  albums,   including   four   solo  piano   albums.     His   latest  release   includes   original   jazz  arrangements   of   favorite  hymns.    Michael  is  married  to  Jennifer,   and   they   have   two  dogs,  Sniffles  and  Barley.

Package  One:    Piano  Music    Michael  will  provide  beautiful  piano  music  for  your  wedding  ceremony,  including:              •  30  minutes  of  pre-­‐                  ceremony  music  while                    guests  are  arriving  and                    visiting              •  2  –  3  songs  selected  for                    play  during  the  service,                    choice  of  those  planning              •  Assistance  in  selecting  ceremony  music  if  needed,                    and  learn  any  song  requested                •  15  minutes  of  post-­‐ceremony  music  while  guests  are                    leaving  the  ceremony  location

Package  Two:  Piano  Music  plus                                                            Sound  Equipment  

 If  you  would  like  live  piano  music  during  your  wedding  ceremony,  but  no  piano  is  available,  Michael  can  bring  his  own  portable  keyboard  and  audio  equipment.    

In  addition  to  everything  provided  in  Package  One,  Michael  will  provide:              •  A  full  size  portable  keyboard  with  realistic                  Grand  Piano  sounds              •  Microphones  for  singers,  speakers,  and                  those  officiating  the  ceremony              •  A  sufficient  and  visually  pleasing  speaker                  system  to  amplify  needed  sound    

Package  Two  Price:    $250.00  

Package  Three:    Piano  Music  plus                                                                                      Audio  Recording    If  you  would  like  a  professional  recording  of  your  wedding  ceremony,  Michael  has  stand-­‐alone  equipment  allowing  for  the  production  of  professional  audio  recordings.    In  addition  to  everything  provided  in  Packages  One  and  Two,  Michael  will  include:              •  Professional  recording  of                        the  ceremony  using                    personal,  stand  alone                    equipment  including  an  M-­‐                        Audio  Interface,  Pro  Tools                    and  Logic  Pro  Computer                    Software,  and  a                    Microboards  GX-­‐2  CD                    Printing  and  Duplication  System.              •  Up  to  5  duplicated  audio  CDs,  including  names,                    date,  and  a  picture  of  your  wedding  printed                    on  the  CD  itself
