• Oversize trucks, buses

and similar vehicles in

Exhibitor Supplies

• Event badges (must be worn by all

team members)

• Lunch tickets

Bags with badges and tickets will be delivered

to exhibit spaces on set-up day; also available

at check-in desk. (If you need more badges or

lunch tickets, please ask.)

Please provide us with the number of

persons on your team.

Event Day

Early Morning

• Exhibitor teams should arrive between

6:15 – 7:00 a.m.

• Park in designated area for

exhibitors/volunteers

• DO NOT park in area designated for

special guests

• Continental breakfast served on second

floor

• Show floor opens at 6:30 a.m.

• Quadrant runners available at 7:00 a.m.

Early Morning

• Everyone must wear exhibitor

badge – no exceptions

• Please head directly to show floor

and check in with your team

• Everyone must be in place by 7:30

a.m., when buses start to arrive

• Event starts at 8:15 a.m.

Session Support

• Volunteers to escort students in/out

of quadrants, exit-staging area

(west side of building)

• Roamers to direct students to

exhibitors, keep crowds moving and

answer questions

• Runners to handle exhibitor needs

during the event

• All volunteers will be wearing yellow

t-shirts (executive committee will

have green shirts)

Session Support

• Beverages available all day,

starting 7 a.m.

• Announcement and music

plays every 27 minutes for

students and chaperones to

move to next quadrant

• Security personnel in each

quadrant at all times, two Novi

public safety officers on duty,

OCC cadets on site

Lunch Service

• 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Exhibitor teams encouraged to rotate

lunches, so everyone can eat

• Please enjoy lunch in designated area

on second floor, if possible

• Box lunches (sandwiches and salads),

plus beverages; lunches for those with

dietary restrictions available

• Lunch service for exhibitors and

volunteers only; no students,

chaperones or bus drivers

Emergencies

• Familiarize your team with closest

emergency exit(s)

• Security team, Novi public safety

officers and event staff will direct

exhibitor teams, students and

chaperones in the unlikely event of

an emergency

• Be vigilant

Special Guests

and Media • Government officials and other

special guests will be touring event

• Feel free to talk to journalists in

attendance

• Oakland County will have video

crew and photographers to capture

sights and sounds
