The wall mount ultrasonic flow meter is for permanent
flow applications. Its modularity offers comprehensive
configuration options to make the instrument suitable for
everything from simple water flow measurements to
energy flow monitoring, automated process control and
product recognition.
The transmitter electronics are housed in a
corrosion-resistant, wall mounted enclosure and can be
powered by AC or DC power supplies. By offering a
wide range of input, output and communication interfaces
such as RS 485, Modbus and relay. The flow meter can
easily be connected to process automation systems. In
addition to the standard version for safe area applications,
we also offers Ex certified ultrasonic transmitter and
sensor modifications for permanent installation in
hazardous areas.

The meter offers a heat quantity measurement function
that turns the instrument into an energy meter. When
equipped with this feature, the flow meter incorporates
measured flow and temperature values delivered by two
PT100 sensors into heat flow and heat quantity. This is
valuable information to assess the efficiency of heat
exchangers and HVAC systems.
The wall mount ultrasonic flow meter can be successfully
applied on a wide range of metering applications. Pipe
size ranges from 15 to 6000mm (1/2" to 236") and
transducers working temperature can be up to 160°C
(320°F). A variety of liquid application can be
accommodated: ultrapure liquids, potable water,
chemicals, reclaimed water, cooling water, river water,
plant effluent, alcohol, etc. For more specific

Optional Heat Measurement Function
The wall mount ultrasonic flow meter with optional heat flow module installed is designed to measure the rate and
quantity of heat delivered to a given building, area or heat exchanger. The meter measures the volumetric flow rate of the
heat exchanger liquid (water, water/glycol mixture, brine, etc.), the high temperature at the inlet pipe and the low
temperature at the outlet pipe. Heat delivery is calculated by the following equation.
Rate of heat delivery = Q*(Tin – Tout)*c
Where
Q = volumetric flow rate
Tin = high temperature at the inlet
Tout = low temperature at the outlet
C = specific heat of the liquid
