Revision information

Dear Year 11,

In order to ensure that you are fully prepared for your GCSE exams, you need to ensure that you

are regularly working your way through the following activity booklets.

1. Reading questions

2. Writing questions

3. CGP AQA Spanish workbook (use the links in there to practice your listening skills too).

You should also be completing at least 20,000 words a week on Memrise AQA GCSE vocab to help

you prepare fully for your exams.

You also need to ensure that you revise fully for the GCSE general conversation. You must know all

answers to Theme 2 off by heart and you also need to ensure that you know at least 1 topic from

Theme 1 and 3. In order to support your learning, try some revision techniques listed below.

1. Make flash cards. On one side the write English and on the other side write the Spanish.

2. Say you answers aloud

3. Say your answers to somebody at home and get them to check compared to what you have

prepared.

4. Listen to your recordings regularly.

5. Try writing your answers out over and over again.

You have all worked so hard over the last four years, now we are heading towards the final push.

Do not let yourselves down at the very end – you are all more than capable of achieving, if not

surpassing, your target grades!

Ayer por la noche, comí en un restaurante español en Madrid con mi familia y la comida era increíble.

Tuvimos un menú del día y costó solamente doce euros. Para comenzar, probé calamares para la

primera vez y estaban deliciosos. Había pensado que serían asquerosos, pero con un poco alioli y

limón, estaban ricos. Para mi plato principal, comí pollo a la plancha con verduras y patatas. En mi

opinión, la carne era demasiado seca pero las verduras eran deliciosas. Después, pedí una tarta de

brother taking drugs.

¡Hola Carlos!

¿Qué tal? Siento lo de tu hermano y espero que tengo unas consejas útiles.

Pues, me has preguntado por me opinión sobre las drogas y debería decir que nunca me he

drogado y nunca me drogaré porque es estúpido y malsano. Además, es muy peligroso, ya que

nunca se sabe lo que hay en las drogas ilegales. Hay personas que piensan que el alcohol es un

La semana pasada, fui a una estación balnearia en el sur de España. Había pensado que la ciudad sería muy bonita, pero en realidad, estaba completamente contaminada. Yo estaba muy decepcionado. El mar estaba tan contaminado que no se podía nadar allí y el agua estaba marrón y sucio. Además, la playa estaba cubierta de basura y nadie podía tomar el sol en la playa.
