The curriculum emphasizes the intersection of studio production, individual research and critical analysis. This structure promotes the development of a sustainable lifelong practice. NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL FIELD TRIPS MECA's MFA program believes in the transformative power of a first-hand cultural experience. Each year students travel to important art destinations in North America and Europe including New York, Montreal and Venice. Selected destinations have significant art historical value and inspire academic and studio course work. Program tuition off sets costs making the trip more affordable for most students.
