IDEAS

Page 12: MF Fashion

1. Create several templates for mobile activation landing destinations integrated into the

mobile application:

• An augmented reality template

• A sequence of pages

• A photo gallery template

• Other suitable templates

2. Create a user friendly interface, which would enable the advertisers to create their mobile

activation landing destinations using the above-mentioned templates

3. Create an API (Application Programming Interface) for integrating the advertisers’ mobile

activation experience with the MFFUniverse app (in case the advertiser wishes to create their

own landing destination)

4. License out the mobile activated advertisement software to other magazines.

5. Partner with companies, which can serve as partners for creating the software, including

mobile activation providers (e.g. Digimarc) and do-it-yourself providers for website

development (e.g. Weebly) and social content inegration (e.g. TINT, Tagboard)

BACKWARD INTEGRATION INTO ADVERTISING

• Page inserts – pages provided by advertisers

• Inside front cover gatefold – a fold in front cover

2. Digital (besides mobile activation):

• Interactive hotspots

• Audio/video

• Product gallery• 360° view – 3D view of a photo

• Flash with no interaction

• Flash with interaction

• Branded pages inside app – additional branded pages integrated into the app

I am applying for Domus Academy Master in Fashion Management program for the third time. The first

and the second time I received the third and the second places respectively, and I am really honored to

have been chosen as one of the laureates of the scholarship. This is my third time, and I hope that this

time I would be able to demonstrate my perseverance, my constant strive for improvement, and last but

not least, my ability to combine creativity with a practical approach to fulfilling tasks.

Subject: Letter of Recommendation for Alma Kassymova

To whom it may concern:

I had the pleasure of teaching Alma in the fall semester of 2008 in the Improving Quality course

at Boston University. This is an elective course that includes a semester long team project and

enables the students to become Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Alma demonstrated a strong

aptitude for the material earning an A grade in the class and obtaining her Green Belt certificate.

I was also impressed with how well Alma worked with her team, not only in contributing effort

and her own thoughts, but also leading and encouraging her team mates. She also demonstrated

good project management and organization skills.

Throughout the course, Alma displayed excellent inter-personal skills, proficiency in presenting

complex material, and came across as a self-starter – addressing the needs of herself and her

team mates before issues arose. She is a mature student, who has the ability to assimilate new

ideas and information quickly, yet thoughtfully questions the material presented, and is proactive

in ensuring her understanding of the details of a topic.

Alma has discussed with me how keen she is to apply her learning from the Improving Quality

class and her desire to pursue a career in Operations Management. I would strongly recommend

Alma for a graduate position or internship in this field.

Jane Davies
