ABOUT USThe Metropolitan PGA is proud to partner with some of the most influential and community-oriented companies in the world. Much of the success of the Met PGA can be directly attributed to our location and our ability to attract the support of Partners and Sponsors that see the intrinsic value of investing in one of the strongest sections in the country. Not only is New York the corporate and financial capital of the world, but to a great extent it is also the centerpiece of the golf world where maintaining the traditions and heritage of the game are held paramount.

When the PGA was born in New York in 1916, the founders certainly never dreamed that one day the Association they were forming would grow to include over 28,000 professionals. At the very forefront of the National PGA then and today, is the Metropolitan Section. The PGA of America is divided into 41 geographical sections across the United States and although we rank only 16th out of 41 sections in total number of members, the leadership, innovativeness and quality that has become synonymous with the Metropolitan PGA programs elevate this association to a position of prominence both in the local golf community and among its national counterparts. For the Met PGA Professional, “Growing the Game” is not just a theme, but a professional commitment and mission.

SECTION FOUNDATIONThe Metropolitan Section PGA Foundation is our Professional’s platform to carry out the mission to promote the goodwill and growth of the game of golf by positively impacting the lives of junior golfers, veterans, and those who are underserved by the game. We accomplish this by focusing our efforts under three founding pillars: Youth, Military, and Diversity and Inclusion.

Our partnerships not only allow us to grow our community initiatives such as PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), and our junior golf programs; but they also help promote the various tournaments that our PGA Professionals compete in. Without the Met Section PGA Professionals, these programs would not be possible.

BE OUR PARTNEROur Partners receive valuable, direct exposure to hundreds of PGA Professionals, veterans, families, and major influencers throughout the Metropolitan area golf community. Our partnerships also provides us with the ability to continue to conduct the strongest tournaments in the country for PGA Professionals.

Met PGA Partners are true allies in making our game and our association better and we strive to tell that story through social media daily to emphasize the value of thinking ‘Partner First’ when making business decisions. Through our communication resources and social media platforms we deliver thousands of impressions and hours of promotion to our most loyal supporters.
