Warmest greetings from the Editorial Team.
We closed the 2010 chapter on a mixed note. Although the achievement ofturnover is much more than 2009, we were still short of our targeted figures by8% This will not be a setback but it will spur us on with renewed vigor andenthusiasm to do more in 2011. We believe that with a new paradigm shiftand streamlining the business processes, it will augur well in our futureendeavor for maximize return towards our investment. More so 2011 will beour 20th. Anniversary where we will have to show the distinct difference andset new landmarks for others who tried to emulate us. Leave them in our wakeand ensure that we soar higher like a “Phoenix” which will not touch theground again.In synergizing the resources between human capital and systems will indeedtake us to unprecedented heights in 2011. In that we believe, so my fellowcolleagues let us take this in our stride and move on, the war is still on, we maylose narrowly in this battle but there will be so many battles yet to be won.Eventuallywewill achievewhatwe set for. Good luck to all of us in 2011.

NOTE FROM THE GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR
We have come to the pinnacle of 2010 with joy andsadness. On one hand we fell short of the expectation whilston another hand we have achieved accolades andrecognition for the effort and values that we preached andpractised within the organization. Although we haveachieved a commendable record for the Group this year, itis still not up to the mark that we have set out earlier in theyear.Let this be the yardstick for us in improving ourselves and notbe derailed by it or demoralised our spirit. The measurementof success is not how we failed but the number of times thatwe managed to bounce back and continues with ourjourney towards our ultimate objectives.The never-say-die-spirit must always be kept burning in theheart of every member of Metro Parking Group.Uncertainties dictate the business world and we will need tofocus and gather enough information to override the wavesand turbulent weather that were accustomed to it.Welcome 2011, this year will be a very significant one to ussince we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary!!! Let this bethe year that we chalk up major success in securingvaluable contracts, reduce or eliminate wastages/mistakesand walk-the-talk in practicing Excellent CustomerService/Retention. It will be commendable for us to sincerelyre-evaluate our past achievements and then chart out themost practical and appropriate means in setting newmilestones in conjunction with our 20th AnniversaryCelebration. Believing in it and working closely togethertowards it will trigger the positive avalanche that we want tosee happens.Lastly but certainly not least, I would like to take thisopportunity to wish everyone in Metro Parking Group a“Happy New Year”. May we stay strong together in
achieving greater success and glory but remain steadfastlyon firm ground and not sway by it.

The Award giving ceremony and gala dinner was held
on 17th October 2010 at Tun Hussein Onn Hall, Putra
World Trade Centre (PWTC) . The Deputy Finance
Minister Datuk Dr. Awang Adek Hussin on behalf YB
Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin ,
has been invited as the Guest of Honor to give away
the Award during the event.

Metro Parking (M) Sdn Bhd has been awarded a certificate in
“Anugerah Kecermelangan Perniagaan Beretika 2010/2011” which
was held at the Manhattan Ballroom, Level 14, Berjaya Times
Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on December 9, 2010 at 8.30 am - 2.00
pm.
The award presentation ceremony was graced by Minister of
Domestic Trade, and Consumer Affairs, YB Dato 'Sri Ismail Sabri
bin Yaakob
At the ceremony, a total of 12 companies from four categories for
the award of big companies, medium, small and micro received
the highest recognition as a company with excellent work ethics
in their respective organizations.
3 teams from Metro Parking had participated in the Hari Mekar ( Quality
Control Circle) on 17th & 18th December 2010 as below:-

New Car Park Contract – IBM @ Tampines
Metro Parking Singapore will start operation to manage IBM new building
located at Tampines Industrial Ave 5 (opposite Giant Hypermart & Ikea) from
1st January 2011 for a period of 3 years.
The Integrated Supply Chain Division of IBM has 600 staff (Executives &
Operators) working 24 hours in this new building. There are 160 car bays and
23 loading bays in the premise with 2 entries and 2 exits.
Installation and testing is still in progress and targeted to be commissioned by
3rd week of December 2010.

The Only Parking Management Company to Achieve Service Excellence
Award
As a Parking Management service provider, Metro Parking recognises
that excellent service is a key in setting us apart from the rest, and
adding value for our clients, employees and suppliers. Every one of our
employees has a part to play in ensuring that we consistently deliver on
our promise of service excellence at every single touch point.
So it is with great honour that we accept the Service Excellence Award
for the fifth year running, and acknowledge the fact that we are still the
only parking management company to achieve the EXSA award. Indeed,
this is testimony to our commitment to service excellence as the core
component of our organisation-wide training programme.
It is with pride that we extend our sincere congratulations to our
deserving recipients, who have been exemplary in their dedication to
service excellence. This brings the total to 28 staff awarded to date,
including 3 STAR awards, 7 Gold awards, 18 Silver awards and our
milestone achievement, the SUPER STAR AWARD.
The award winners received plagues and cash incentives.

This was held at M Hotel on 20 November 2010 with the Theme
“Tropical Party Under The Star”.
During this event, the company recognised the service staff for
their dedicated contribution by giving the 2 years, 5 years and
15 years service awards and cash incentives.

The Bursary Award started in 1997 to strengthen staff welfare and
benefits. The awards are given to staff who is at least one year of
service with the company; with children from Nursary to
Polytechnic education to benefit them in their education and excel
in their studies.

The Customer-Centric Initiative (CCI) aims to encourage
companies to be committed to service excellence and to
take the lead in raising service standards in their
industry. Led by SPRING, the National Trades Union
Congress, the Singapore Workforce Development
Agency, the Singapore Tourism Board and the
Singapore National Employers Federation, the CCI
offers an assistance package to assist Singapore-based
companies in upgrading service standards.
Metro Parking Singapore is proud to be awarded this
accolade under the supported services of Land
Transport sectors in August 2010.
The area was created in Sep 2010 to cater for staff
welfare where staff can relax during outside office
hours to watch TV, play WIFI games, small discussion,
mini-golfing and birthdays celebrations and
gatherings.

From period month of Sep to Dec 10, MP India have secured 1
(one) new car park contract as follows:
R Mall, Mulund
R Mall is a 250,000 sq feet four storied fully Air Conditioned Mall
developed by Runwal Group which stands tall at LBS Marg,
Mulund – West. R Mall marks the foray of Runwal Group into the
Retail Industry.
R Mall is the landmark and pride of Mulund . It hosts world class
shopping and entertainment brands, food courts and a Four
screen Multiplex – R Adlabs. The Mall has a huge 6 level parking
facility which can accommodate more than 800 cars and boasts
of maximum footfalls among other malls in the city. The
footfalls on Weekdays (Monday to Friday) is 10000-12000 per
day and on Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) is 40000 to 50000
per day.
Metro Parking Services (India) Pvt.Ltd. started its operations on
23rd October 2010.
Metro Parking India organizes birthday party under
MP sports club every month.

On 9th – 13th November,2010, Encik Amizi Shahrulizan has visited
Metro Parking Hong Kong for audit purposes. During their audit he
had visited the office and car park.
