About MET BKC:

The MET League of Colleges is a conglomerate ofpremiere educational institutions, driven by a single-minded focus on imparting quality education to makestudents sharp. Established in 1989, with a mission toredefine the system of education, MET is aprofessionally managed, multi- disciplinary and multi-faceted oasis of knowledge. The grant of the ISO9001:2008 certification is an acknowledgement of theinstitution's capability to deliver professional educationthat meets the highest standards of professionalismworldwide.

UNITY (United IT Youth):

UNITY –Information Technology Students’Association was an idea, a challenge to create aplatform for the students, by the students and ofthe students wherein students would come out ofthe shell to display their talent, innovation andhelp them make a cut above the rest.Established on 15th August 2012, UNITY hasbeen creating waves ever since. UNITY iscommitted in generating, disseminating, andpreserving knowledge, and to working withothers to bring this knowledge to bear on theworld's great challenges.

FUNCTIONS:

The functions of UNITY are to motivatestudents for self confidence and identify the strength ofstudents. Generate awareness about technical know-how& updates on the current issues related technologiesscenario as well as non-technical issues. Conducting various seminars, Workshops (in-house faculty as well as industry experts) throughout theyear to enlighten students with various technologies.

Milestones:

Yearly membership of more than 200students from IT Department There have been various Technical,Non-Technical, and Cultural Events,workshops seminars and CSR activities ofwhich UNITY has been an integral part ofDepartmental activities. Chief guests include technical experts,business tycoons, dignitaries, socialists,businessmen, high ranking law enforcementpersonnel, etc.

ACTIVITES:

: आषाढ या आपण .आषाढ. महाभारत, पुराणे वंदन , पूजा हा

आहे. , झालेले , अशी आहे. अशा या मानावेअसे कथन केले आहे. एवढेच तर हे भारतीय मूलाधार मानले जात.

, , , आहे, असा . राजा मानतात,‘ मागोवा घेतू’ असे . आपण कोणाचे आहोत, या

भावनेत एक वाटते. भारतीय - आहेत. जनक- , -जनक, ,

सुदामा- , -राम, , परशुराम- , - अशी - परंपरा आहे., राहत . भगवान लाकडे . संत वडीलबंधूयांनाच आपले मानले, तर संत नामदेव असत. नामदेवांचे होते खेचर.

भारतीय नेहमीच पूजनीय मानलेआहे.

Workshop on Cloud Computing:

A one day workshop organized for TE & BE ITstudents on Cloud computing as a Cloud computingis emerging and new topic added to Syllabus.Students from TE & BE have participated in it.Workshop divided into theory as well as hands onsession, the, resource person Mr. Rushikesh Jadhavfrom ESDS, Software’s, Nasik; from one of thereputed company in IT Industries.

“A State Level FDP on “Recent Trendsin Advanced Database ManagementSystem”:A three day Faculty Development Program isorganized for TE IT students as well as faculty fromdifferent institute on “Recent Trends in AdvancedDatabase Management System” during 1st Septemberto 3rd September 2014. During this three day workshopall TE IT students & faculties were present. Thisworkshop included theory as well as Hands onsessions. The workshop conducted by Mr. JaywantDesale of Ingenious Solution, Yerwada, Pune. Thestudents got hands on experience for recent databasetechnologies also they get to implement new conceptby learning details. The response was overwhelming.

The event is organized on birth ceremony of SirMokshagundam Visvesvaraya; the METS, IOE, hascelebrating this day as Engineers day & whole weekas engineers week. On this auspicious occasionUNITY has started MET-Ignite. Ignite is the annualevent organized by UNITY. The theme of the eventfor the year is save girl child.UNITY, being the independent body of students whoorganize this event along with many other socialinitiatives and outreach programs round the year.Started in 2013 with the aim of providing a platformfor students to develop and showcase their technicalprowess, it has now grown into one of Nasik’s largestTechnical festival.

Events:Technical & non- Technical Events Innowiz (Quiz Competition): Innowiz is a

technical event based on General Knowledge,Reasoning and Technical question. Thecompletion is based on single entry there are tworounds for the competition.

Juzz Present (Technical Presentation): PaperPresentation on recent technical topics,participants are compact with each other.

Debug IT (C Programming debugging ):The event is Analyst Skill Testing Competitionin ‘C’ & ‘C++’ languages. The participants willdebug the given program.

Kurukshetra (Dance/Drama): The participationof this event is open for all age group and non-technical background students. This event has ahuge response from the district and outside.There are lots of dramas, action; comics theparticipant as well as the students is enjoy theevent.
