The kindergarten implements the curriculum within the bilingual convention, i. e. in Polish and in English. Bilingual teaching is done during the day, both in classes conducted in blocks - in Polish and English, and during the child's daily activities. Throughout the day, both a qualified Polish-language teacher and English-language teacher.

+ Lesson 1 Language :

Teddy bear, red, green, yellow, blue.

Materials:

Teddy bear puppet, Cd, five teddy bears’ pocket poster in a colour: red, green, blue, yellow , colour flashcards, activity worksheet, Big Story Book, teddy bear flashcards.

+Hello Teddy Bear !

1. Sit on the carpet – transcription song

Sit on the carpet, Sit on the carpet, Sit on the carpet, Clap Clap.

2. Before the lesson, hide Teddy bear inside a cloth

bag.

3. Take Teddy bear out of the bag. Say hello and invite

children to sing a Hello song.

+5. Present Teddy Bear to the class and sing a song:

Hello, hello What’s your name ?,

What’s your name? What’s your name? Hello, hello What’s your name, My name is…

6. Flashcard time.

Show the class the colour flashcard.

Take out the flashcards of colour : red , green, blue, yellow.

Hold up the red flashcards and say Red.

Hold up the green flashcards and say Green.

Hold up the blue flashcards and say Blue.

Hold up the yellow flashcards and say Yellow.

+ Show the flashcards and ask:

What colour’s this?

Take the red card and put it in the red pocket of the poster teddy bear. Say Red and ask children to repeat.

Follow the procedure for the other colours.

Point to all the coloured flashcard in the Teddy bear pocket poster, one by one.

Five little teddy bears- counting down from 5-1.
