Almost 3 years on SL.My avatar came on this medium with some 2D images and my attraction for 3D constantly grew. That is the reason for today’s show : the tiny entrance of my opti-cal, chemical and digital world opens again.

Artististe Despres (a.k.a. Artée)

Artist-Ide Despres also known as ‘Artée’ is a photogra-pher who expresses herself through alternative photo-graphic techniques. A simple wooden box with no lens is her camera. Three plastic boxes, a contact printing frame and a black cloth are her darkroom where she develops, preferably on the spot. The long exposure times required by this technique bring a new vision of things or places, in a contemplation and a reflexion about the things that don’t evolve but slowly. Photog-raphy brought back to its magical values, the alchemy of noble metals, silver, platinum blending with ocean tides and eclipses…
