Power Hour Calendar 2020

Dear Bloomfield Public Schools family:

As we put a priority on your safety during this health crisis, we want to be clear: Our goal as a school district has not changed. We are here to prepare our children for college and meaningful careers by challenging them with rigorous instruction.

We recognize these are trying times, filled with uncertainty and major adjustments in your daily life. We will remain steadfast in making sure students maintain or exceed their current level of learning.

This health crisis will eventually pass. In the interim, the education of our children will not be compromised. We are fully engaged in making Distance Learning a viable educational tool.

We have committed school leaders and staff, resilient students, supportive parents, and a dedicated school board. Together, we will make this work.

Dr. James Thompson Superintendent, Bloomfield Public Schools
